We have ordered 10 pairs of glasses from here over the past 6 years. We are now waiting 3 weeks for a "loaner" pair and 6 weeks for actual ordered pair. No follow up, horrible customer service and worst of all NO CONCERN FOR THE CHILD IN NEED OF GLASSES. Since my husband and I have had to do all the following up they are now accusing us of being harrassing. We will not be purchasing future glasses from here. Save yourself the hassle, and going to court as we intend to. Update: Glasses Menagerie has not resolved this. We have yet to see the refund as agreed upon. In the meantime (less than 24 hrs) we have gone to The Spectacle Shoppe and have gotten the same exact frames we ordered that were 6 weeks out, made with his prescription in 30 min and less than half the cost.

Glasses Menagerie was really helpful with picking out glasses for my daughter and working through insurance. They have a HUGE selection of glasses for kids- hundreds, not the 20-30 that most places have, and my daughter enjoyed trying them all on and finding glasses that best fit her and her personality. The staff were careful to show her frames that were covered by our insurance, and were not pushy with upgrades. My daughter was nervous about getting glasses, but after this experience she cant wait until they come in.

When I first entered the Glasses Menagerie I was surprised by the unprofessional appearance of the office. Not only was it cluttered, but also in need of a good cleaning. I decided to give it a chance and went ahead with the exam. The exam with Dr. Chous was adequate. However, dealing with the office staff was by far the worst experience I’ve had at any healthcare organization. They were rude, difficult to work with, and incredibly disorganized. The overall experience was very frustrating.

I have twin sons with autism. Ive been bringing my boys to The Glasses Menagerie since they were 4 years old. They are now 12. The staff is always very patient and knowledgeable. They take the time to make sure that my boys like their glasses, the glasses fit well, and I understand what is and is not covered by my insurance. Parking can be a challenge at times, but worth the trip from NE Mpls. to S. Mpls.

I have 5 kids with Down syndrome. We have been going to GM for about 5 years now. They have been nothing but professional every time we have been in the shop. A couple of my kids are a bit difficult to have in a store as small as GM but the staff was really great with them.
