Ive always had great vision but from the age of 28 to now (30) I have slowly noticed some blurriness fogging the fine details of what Im seeing. I knew it was nothing major (just age) but decided to see an optometrist anyway. I called a couple of local places who work with my insurance and chose what appeared to be the coolest, eyedeals. They were able to squeeze me in for an exam at the perfect time with limited notice. I have slight anxiety over anything even remotely medical, and am very self conscious about my appearance. The person who assisted me throughout was Ashley, and she made these anxieties melt away very quickly, while maintaining a healthy amount of honesty and guidance in how certain frames worked with my face. We narrowed frames down (just for fun) to about three options and picture texted them to my girlfriend. The optometrist was extremely kind and calm, and noted some degradation in my sight, but gave me the honest assessment that I didnt really NEED glasses yet, and that it would be a personal choice as to whether I pursued glasses at this point. Well, after having had such a fun time looking at frames earlier, Ashley and my girlfriend and I felt pretty darn good about a certain pair, and I took the plunge. I liked the range of selections a lot, it was very easy to find something that made me feel good about myself. After receiving the glasses, I was absolutely stunned by the change in my sight. My life went from VHS to HD and the entire experience was a success. Highly recommended.

Wow, this place is awesome. I almost exclusively wore contacts before coming in and had one pair of old glasses as a back up in case with an 8 year old prescription. Time to replace that, yeah I know. I might have been living under a rock in eyewear fashion for the greater half of a decade, so excuse my amazement when I was taken under the lovely wings of Caitlin (The Frame Maven). They all have fun little nicknames for the eyewear specialists there that just add to the atmosphere and pleasure of picking out your new face. Because thats what Caitlin and I were doing, picking out my new face! Caitlin asked what I was looking for in terms of style and showed me a great array of beautiful frames, all while giving honest and expert opinions on how they look. And you know when something didnt fit my face, she would tell me; and while that might not be your thing, being told a subjective opinion, I really did appreciate it and do we ever need that here in Minnesota! The prices were also fair, this isnt your Walmart eyeglass shop, where I got my previous frames 8 years ago, so youre not going to get bottom of the barrel prices, but I felt genuinely please with the price, especially with the quality, the top notch service, and the adorable glasses case that came with it! The rest of the staff there were also all very helpful and nice. They actually ended up making me into someone who loves wearing her glasses! I wear my contacts from time to time, yes, but these frames are killer!

After posting the review below, Eyedeals called me right away. I am grateful for their quick response. The person I spoke with was very nice and did explain that a polycarbonate lens with UV protection was available for $46 as stated in the insurance plan. This had not been explained while I was in the shop. The cost first quoted had been pushed to $244 because they believe a high index lens and anti-reflective coating are essential. My prior experience of lenses without these additions is that they are perfectly adequate. The earlier review text follows: Went to this provider who is in network for Wells Fargo employees with VSP plan. Was quoted $244 as my copay for TriVex high index lenses, and then $144 for PolyCarbonate lenses (not sure of the exact number on this last). But the VSP coverage document says the copay for lenses should be $15 plus $16 for UV Protection, which is an essential eye health requirement. It seems the provider was trying to upsell unnecessarily. I was very disappointed. Will contact them again to see if they will honor VSP in network prices.

Eyedeals is outstanding! I made an excellent choice by buying two pairs of frames and lenses from Caitlin and Ashley. After years of wearing glasses only for reading and occasionally working on the computer, I had to finally accept that my eyesight was getting worse and it was now necessary (or at least a smart choice) to wear glasses regularly. Im not a fan of contacts, and my 10+ year old pair of steel rim frames were hilariously out of style. In addition to a nice selection of quality frames, Eyedeals has the (for me, much needed) benefit of Caitlin and Ashleys expertise. What I needed most was assistance with picking frames that were "stylish" and would fit my face and add a new element to my look. Caitlin "the frame maven" and Ashley "the sight siren" knew exactly how to make that happen, and I ended up with two pairs of frames that I am very happy with. The frame maven and the sight siren will make it happen for you too, and if you are looking for a quality, stylish new pair of glasses, I highly recommend Eyedeals.

Im really disappointed with the accounting service with this company. I have been more than polite and understanding and yet Im beginning to feel taken advantage of. My daughter was there in July for an appointment and contacts. She was told her insurance didnt work at their store so I paid for it. I found out weeks later that it did indeed work at their store and asked for a refund. I dealt with very polite people that told me I would get my refund in 10 business days. Its September 16 and Im still waiting patiently. I have had three conversations, two were never returned like they said they would be and I have been told twice the check would be sent within a week. Im very frustrated with this since Ive gone out of my way to be understanding. Ive now contacted the Better Business Bureau. The biggest disappointment is that when they initially said she wasnt covered, I didnt hesitate to pay them. I just wish I was getting the same courtesy.

Service during my exam, fitting, etc was fine, although I was strongly pushed to spend near $750 for contacts and glasses. BUT, once they realized I was not going to be buying from them, they completely shut me out and even refused to give me my PD to order my own glasses (which is mandatory by law). She stated that they do not have to release it to me and they do not have that measure for me. Which is odd, considering I had glasses ordered through them and cancelled my order due to rethinking how much I was about to spend so I can see. If they didnt have the measurement, how were they going to make my glasses to fit me? I am extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend them nor go back.

Loyal Customer since 2009. Always a great selection of the latest and greatest from classic to totally rad frames. I typically order pretty tricked out lenses with subtle tints, mirrors, etc.… With a constantly changing prescription. My orders have been very specific and detailed, Caitlin and crew go the mile to make sure my orders are 100% nailed and looking perfect everytime. Finding exceptional customer service with folks that stand behind their products and services is whats most important to me, you can buy "stuff" anywhere. A great business is always about the people and these guys and gals are gold. Friendly, fun, knowledge and pro, highly recommended!
