First and foremost, Id like to say that the dental hygienists are exceptional. They are attentive and thorough, and they are the only reason that I would suggest this practice. However, Dr. Gregory J. Kemmitt is everything that they are not. He is short, unprofessional and his work is pitiful. Dr. Kemmitt is the only dentist to give me a filling, so I trusted him wholeheartedly. First, although, they were only surface fillings, I had excessive pain afterwards. One tooth in particular caused daily pain every time that I ate anything that required real chewing - ie, red meat, broccoli, etc. I went back immediately, Dr. Kemmitt, examined me (with his shaky hands) and told me it was likely some type of gum irritation and told me to continue to floss and gargle with peroxide based rinse. I did that, but the daily pain persisted. I saw him two additional times; each time, he was dismissive and rude. Finally, over a year later, I went to see another dentist, who listened (imagine that). He was able to fix the problem in ten minutes. The filling that Kemmitt put in was so high and sloppy that my natural bite pattern was inhibited and putting too much pressure on the ligament under that tooth. I bit down on a strip that showed all of the force in the center or my tooth. The new dentist did a little filing and polishing, and when I bit down again the strip showed the force on the cusps of my teeth, where it belongs. When I called Dr. Kemmitt to explain how this year-old issue was resolved in 10 minutes, he told me that I sounded bitter and that I should have told him that the filling felt high...unbelievable. I cant speak for the other dentists at Blue Ridge, but Dr. Kemmitt is way off in every healthcare professional standard.

I guess i feel bad for A.C. Flynns experience because mine was quite the opposite! The first time i had Dr. Kemmit work on my teeth, it was to repair a facial filling on a upper front tooth..The previous dentist that had put it in didnt do it correctly. He also didnt put the Novocaine in the correct spot so i felt every thing when he drilled out my cavity! I even told him about the pain and was told "it was impossible that you can feel it"! Needless to say when i had to have it replaced i was told to see Dr. Kemmit because my friend had never had issues with pain with him. Kemmit took the time to let the Novocaine work and tested that i couldnt feel anything and would stop periodically to check how i was doing so i would go thru the same experience as when it was originally put in. That was over 20 yrs, 2 crowns, and multiple fillings ago. And over all that time Dr. Kemmit has treated me as carefully as the 1st day i saw him. Thank You to the Crew at Blue Ridge Dental for making my dental experiences, extremely pleasant ones!

Dr. Brian Shragg went above and beyond my expectations as a dentist. His chair-side manner is second to none: he is patient, calm, gentle, and thorough. Dr.Shragg is very empathetic and understands patients have anxiety about the dentist. He is conscious of the fact that people do not like pain and that people have different pain thresholds. Dr.Shragg recognizes each patient is different and is able to adapt to the patients’ needs. I saw Dr.Shragg for a crown prep and placement. He was able to ease my anxiety through humor and by explaining exactly what he would be doing. Before leaving the crown prep appointment, Dr.Shragg assured me that I could call him anytime with questions or if I was in pain (even over the weekend). I highly recommend Dr. Brian Shragg. Your teeth will thank you.

I have a complicated crown on one of my front teeth. It has always been a cosmetic eye sore to say the least. I visited Blue Ridge Dental because of a recommendation by a friend. By far the best advice I have ever taken. I was treated with the up most respect and felt the staff understood the impact my teeth had on my self esteem. In the matter of just a couple of appointment, I had a new crown and whiter teeth. I have gotten so many compliments on my teeth since visiting Blue Ridge Dental! I am confident in saying it would be the best advice you ever took by checking this place out!

I have been going to Blue Ridge Dental for almost 30 years. I have seen other dentists in that time period and been reassured again and again that Blue Ridge Dental is by far superior to other dentists. Dr. Olson been my dentist for the entire time and he is great at what he does and super friendly. I tell everyone I know about Blue Ridge Dental and am thankful to have had them through some pretty serious work from oral maxillofacial surgery to getting my wisdom teeth out. I would definitely give them a chance and be prepared to have a relationship for a long time.

My visit was absolutely wonderful. It wasnt like going to the dentist . . . it was very easy and comfortable because the staff put me at ease right away. The hygienist was gentle; she didnt pick or make my gums bleed. She talked with me, answered all my questions, and took her time. There was no stress. Its the best experience Ive ever had. Im also very, very satisfied with Dr. Olsons work. Hes the "Picasso" of dentistry. He had great suggestions to improve my smile without costing a fortune. I recommend this clinic highly.

I had a fabulous experience at Blue Ridge Dental! For someone with extreme dental anxiety, Laura and Dr. Kemmitt were absolutely wonderful at making my experience as comfortable as possible. I loved them both! I was especially nervous about my visit since it has been years since my last checkup. They were so positive and not at all judging. I drove an hour and a half from my home in New Ulm to Minnetonka because I was referred to Blue Ridge dental. I had a cleaning and needed a tooth fixed that was causing me pain. Ive never had good luck at the dentist so I was nervous going in. The hygienist did a great job and Dr. Wilkes was able to fix my tooth causing no pain to me while doing so. First time Ive ever been able to sit through a dental visit without pain. I will absolutely be commuting here for all future dental work. Highly recommend!
