Dr. Cataldos clinic atmosphere is relaxed, spacious, quiet, professional, and comfortable. Service provided by the dental hygienists is courteous and excellent. Dr. Cataldos presence is confident, calm, quiet, courteous, professional, unobtrusive, and kind. His work is accurate and comfortable as possible to the patient. He explains things well and and answers all questions carefully and thoroughly. His approach to dental needs of the patient is conservative, in that he proposes only the amount of dental intervention that is necessary for optimum dental health. He will fully-inform you of the relative risks-to-benefits of any treatment. He and his staff are very respectful and responsive to decisions made by me as the patient. Personally, I have never felt alarmed by him or the staff of any dental "risks" at Dr. Cataldos clinic, because he is so skilled and knowledgable that the results of his work for me have always been positive.

I have always been someone who has put off the dentist until I was in dire straights, not a good idea, I know. Since meeting Dr. Cataldo, that has changed. He is very gentle and explains everything that he is going to do before he does it. He has equipment that projects my mouth on the tv screen so I can see what he is talking about and follow along. I had 2 cracked teeth when I met him and he suggested I keep a close eye on them and didnt try to get me to crown them right away. One of them held out 2 years and the second 3. He was able to show me what the cracks looked like the last time I was in and could compare it to present. I have often felt pressured to have things done from other dentists, but I didnt get that from him. His hygienists are gentle, yet thorough and overall, I am very happy with the practice. I live in St Paul now and its out of the way for me, but I like him enough to do that.

This is technically 3 reviews....my 9-year old daughter would say, "yeah, we get to go to the dentist!!".........my 5 year old would say, "I like the dentist, not the doctor." As a mom I was really happy knowing the Dr. Cataldo has children of his own and knows how to interact with each of mine in a way that makes them comfortable and frankly....excited to go!" As a person who grew up not like going to the dentist, Dr. Cataldo has always made me at ease and I have gone to him for years, I am happy that my fear of the dentist didnt rub off on my kids and I sent them straight to Dr. Cataldo. Thanks for always being 110%, your staff, cleanliness, humor and oral care.

Every time I sit in the dental chair at Cataldo Family Dentistry I am impressed with Dr. Cataldo and his staffs. They have great attention to detail and are meticulous when cleaning and checking my teeth. In addition when Dr. Cataldo tells me I need something done I trust what he says and believe that he has my best interest at heart. Thats refreshing.

Got two fillings today. My mouth doesnt hurt at all. Last time I had fillings (at a different dentist), I felt like Id been punched in the face afterwards. Great dentist. Very thorough. Really good sanitary practices (I pay attention to these things). Highly recommend.
