When you realize your life without glasses will be amazing, you want that to start as soon as possible. Two weeks ago I hadn’t thought about Lasik in months maybe a year and then having a conversation with a LasikPlus rep, I thought, at least go for the consultation. I scheduled the consult, discussed the financing, scheduled an appointment and left with my booklet of information. Straight forth, clear and totally at ease would be how I describe my consultation day. I actually moved my appointment up one week, there was no issue with that on LasikPlus Oakdale side and I didn’t have time to stress or back out. 10 days from consult to procedure and this morning, less than 24 hours later, I am sitting at my computer back to work as usual, except for the grin that I am wearing instead of glasses. This is amazing! Al (Edina) and Tony (Oakdale) are both very proud of the work they do and the genuine happiness it brings to others. Even before Day 1 walking into the Oakdale center, I have been treated wonderfully. Everyone seems to thoroughly enjoy what they are doing and what they are doing for people. The consultation was easy, the payment conversation wasn’t awkward. The Congratulations were so wonderful and heartfelt. The entire staff seriously is so easy going which only enhanced my experience. I am also fortunate enough to say my procedure was done by Dr. Omar Awad who is renowned in his field and that gave me more comfort in my time at LasikPlus Oakdale. The procedure truly takes less than five minutes, so between the numbing process and the duration of the actual procedure, it really is a miracle of technology and modern medicine. I will now be one of those people that says DO IT! It is the most amazing money you can spend on yourself. Thank you!! Thank you... leaving my 24 hours follow-up and I am seeing better than 20/20. Wow, highly recommend!

I wanted LASIK for years and am SO happy with my results and my experience at LasikPlus. Everyone was kind and helpful, walking me through the process every step. We had to reschedule my original appointment due to an emergency that came up for the doctor and they were very helpful in rescheduling. The procedure itself took only minutes. By the next day, I could see clearly and keep my eyes open. It basically felt like I has my contacts in, but they were dry. At three weeks after, my vision is 20/15 and Im pretty much entirely healed. The only warning or tip I have is this: After, I did go through what I would only describe as some sort of allergic reaction - because my eyes were watering so much (which is completely normal and how your eyes heal), it set off my allergies. My nose and ears plugged up completely, which was a bit uncomfortable. However, after some Afrin and Sudafed, that abated and I was able to sleep pretty much the rest of the day (as instructed, to help heal). I definitely recommend LASIK and LasikPlus.

Absolutely surreal! After more than 20 years of wearing glasses and contacts, I have been considering lasik eye surgery for a few years. I had my consultation at the Edina LasikPlus, and my surgery here at Oakdale. The surgery itself went flawless and under 20 minutes. It has totally changed my life for the better! I am happy that i will never need to buy contacts or glasses or worry about them anymore. I recommend anyone who is thinking about getting Lasik to go for it, The staff at the Lasik Plus, Oakdale MN office are so professional and knowledgeable. I liked how Dr. Chris Buntrock gave me a call himself day before the surgery to explain me things and make me comfortable and less nervous. He answered all my questions before and after Lasik. My thanks goes to all staff from LasikPlus Okdale and keep up the great work!

I absolutely loved the LasikPlus in Oakdale!! Everybody that helped me with my or endure was super friendly, warm, professional, and made me feel at ease. Im actually just waking up right now from my nap after my LASIK procedure and I feel great! Started taking the prescribed eye drops and Im not having any discomfort at all. I cannot describe how awesome it is to wake up and be able to actually SEE THINGS!! I have been wanting to get this done for about 7 years now and Im so happy I did! Id recommend this location to absolutely everybody. If youre curious, go get your free consultation! Youll be treated very well and will leave excited. One of the best decisions Ive made in life so far!

One year later and still having trouble with eye redness, discomfort and irritation. I went to an eye doctor and was told it is common. I have so much redness and swelling that steroid drops didnt solve the problem. It just keeps getting worse. I called the Oakdale Lasik Plus office and was told they couldnt help me. I was told that I would need to see a regular eye doctor and that there was nothing they could do. They even refused an appointment. They caused the problem but only offer care for 3 months following surgery. I would not recommend Lasik to anyone but If you still elect to have it done, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE CONSIDER THE OAKDALE OFFICE FOR YOUR SERVICE.

I went in on a Wednesday for a consultation and had the procedure the next day. The procedure itself took only 10 minutes and was very painless! I was able to go back to work the next day as the recovery time was very minimal (only a few hours following the procedure that were made easier by taking a nap at home). The staff was very friendly and ensured that I had all of my questions answered before the procedure. Tony, Lina, Dr. White, Karis, Jane and Dr. Awad were all great! The day after the procedure I was already seeing better than I did with glasses or contacts. Thank you to everyone at LasikPlus Oakdale for the amazing experience!

Ive been wearing glasses for the past 15-16 years and have been considering LASIK the past few years. After all these years, I finally decided to get it done. I went in for a consultation at the Oakdale location and was scheduled to get the procedure done in less than a week. All the staffs were very friendly and helped answer all my questions. The procedure was quick and went very smoothly. It hasnt been a full day yet and I am seeing better than I ever had with glasses. I would highly recommend this place to anyone considering LASIK.

The best businesses are composed of great people who care, and thats exactly what youll find here. Erin warmly greeted me when I walked in the door and guided me through everything from the procedure to pricing. "Cornea Karis" zipped through my preliminary exams and knows her stuff forward and back, answered all my questions. Dr. Alvarado came in shortly thereafter and she is a complete pro in addition to being a wonderful person. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone considering LASIK!

I had a wonderful experience at Lasikplus in Oakdale. I had gone to consultations elsewhere but felt like I was a sales number with their scripts. The doctors here were not pushy and explained everything and answered all my qurstions. The actual surgery was very easy and that was my biggest fear. I hardly felt a thing. The employees all made me feel very comfortable during the entire process. I would highly recommend this company and location to others.
