Chose this place because of its good reviews. Upon walking in, i got greeted with a " welcome we will be right with you", but no eye contact was made. Place is small, not a lot of room. After being greeted properly and checked in 5min later, my daughter was sent back to get her exam. She said the Dr. was very professional and made her feel comfortable. So thats a A+. In the meantime, I waited with my 2 annoying children in the lobby with no chairs. I did get names but Ill keep them to myself. The truth is the whole time I was there the ladies that where on this shift seemed snobby. They werent very friendly. I understand kids can be annoying but their snobbiness wasnt helping. We where interested in getting our free pair thru our insurance, once I mentioned that...it was obvious they didnt like my plan. lol. Almost all of their glasses are $199 and up. I do admit they have a great variety of fabulous frames to choose from but none are with discount. No one helped her select a frame that was face fitting. Just sent us to the section we could choose from. After picking a pair, snobby lady told us theyd be ready after a couple of hours. That part was awesome! Usually we have to wait around 2-3 weeks. So I loved that! So we come back and a gentleman helps us. He is friendly and helps adjust my girls glasses. Lets us know that refills are free on the glasses cleaner. Another awesome thing. He was also great as an employee. Now the problem was that I asked him for the prescription and he "said sure let me go get it. " and as we where waiting snobby nosey rosey said " they dont owe anything" the guy then said" I know" and proceeds to wait for computer to print prescription. Thats when the witch decided to say" oh oh oh, I now see what youre doing." And chuckled. Pretty much saying, in my opinion, that we sure couldnt buy glasses there but we sure could get the prescription and go elsewhere. So besides the snobby lady that worked there on the shift I decided to go in on, I would have gave them a 5 star. But I must say, if you have kids, dont go there. Go to Vision Works in Stillwater. Only reason why we went to this place is due to our dumb insurance. Maybe I took it the wrong way, but that lady needs to get her nose out of the sky and get with it. And if you dont have kids, and dont mind one or two snobby ladies working there, then you might like this place.

I will start by saying that I have gone for eye care at this location for nearly 5 years. I buy glasses and contacts and have yearly exams done. I really like seeing Dr. Ness. He does such a great job and is very personable. Unfortunately, I will no longer be going to see Dr Ness because of his terrible office staff. Ive always felt like they were too busy for their customers and feel rushed like they have better things to do. They messed up my contact lens order. By messed up I mean they never placed it! I had to call back after two months and was told they didnt have the order on file. One pair of glasses from them was so uncomfortable which I believe was caused by a sales person rushing through my measurements which turned out incorrect for my eyes. The center of the glasses lens was below my line of sight. I decided to order glasses online instead of risking another bad pair from Pearle Vision Woodbury. I couldnt get my Pupillary Distance for the online glasses because they refused to do that for me if I wasnt purchasing glasses from them. I had asked them to release my glasses records from previous pairs which had the PD on them and they also refused that. I like Dr. Ness but just cant go back to this place because of the horrible staff that work there.

There are 3 things that turn a good customer service into a great one for me: Honesty, amiability, and the willingness to go the extra mile. BAILEY at this Pearle Vision location really nailed all 3. When I initially walked in, I was actually not acknowledged immediately. After a few minutes of browsing, Bailey completely changed my mind about how I thought the experience was going to go. I dont expect my hand to be held, but it certainly helps to have a little guidance and a point of contact. She was friendly and seemed to care about what I was looking for. She was HONEST especially about when certain styles didnt really look great on me. She ordered a couple frames that they didnt have in store and went through every available color and size of the styles I liked (Nobody has ever done that, and I usually get the speech of whats out is out). She also didnt rush me into making a decision. Eventually, I picked out one kick ass pair of glasses (in a size and style that another store had told me didnt exist). So thanks again Bailey for being honest, amiable, and for going the extra mile to help me.

Our family has appreciated the years of great service at PV in Woodbury. We value the professional opinion of Dr. Ness, who has advised us well regarding our eye health. We like the alternate option of using the new Opto-map Technology, (in place of drops) for screening, as it allows a visual comparison with previous ones. Also your Dr. can show you and explain the results; and at about $19.00 is reasonably priced. Eyewear selection ranges from a low of about $99.00 and up.They also have a top-notch manager, (Bill), who besides being a terrific team leader, is always ready to assist the customers with any questions or concerns. When I leave, I feel good about taking good care of my (priceless) eyesight. Thank you Dr. Ness and Woodbury Pearle Vision. R. Murphy ( customer)

**UPDATE** The reason I am re-rating from 5 stars to 3 is because I came in to pick up my contact order and I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I think the first lady should have specified how many contacts were in "one box" because I was expecting more than 3 pairs per box. I was also charged over $100 per box (with a 40% discount) when on 1800contacts, its only $75 per box after rebate. Super disappointing that I have been overcharged!!! I need these contacts at the moment so I will not return them; however, please be more thorough when explaining to your customers. Also, why do you charge more than the retailer?! Had an amazing experience with the eye care specialists and doctor Hansen. Very professional Staff and they were especially friendly and helpful! :)

4 years ago I switched to Pearle from Lenscrafters because I thought the customer experience was better. I no longer feel that way. Took over a month to get my glasses because staff dropped the ball multiple times. Aside from the staff member who personally helped me at the time of order, everyone who answered the phone when I subsequently tried to track the progress of my glasses over the phone- was rude and/or gave me uninformed answers to questions, and even requested that I have to come in before they continue work just to verify the frame color.... Depending on who answers the phone you will get a different answer. The manager had always "just left" when I called. Super disappointed in my experience, and I am not a hard person to work with I swear!
