We brought our puppy home at the end of February 2017, and after a bit of research settled on St. Michael Vet Clinic. They have been so great to her since the day we brought her in for her first vet check. She is now 6 months old, and is recovering from her spay surgery. Day 2 post-op, and she is doing great and recovering nicely. They have taken great care of her every time, whether it be for vaccines or her surgery. The team is very gentle, patient and knowledgeable. We dont typically see the same doctor every time, which I would prefer so they get to know her and her history going forward; but the clinic keeps great notes on her file and all of the doctors are friendly and helpful. One of the vet techs can be condescending when answering questions, but aside from that a great team! Our puppy loves them, and is happy to see them every time we go in.

RUDE RUDE and VERY UNCARING. I made an appt to bring in a dog that needed to be put down and another that needed emergency vet care. Got to he clinic and the person who "helped" me was rude and crabby and I could not receive their services because I did not have cash or a credit card. Has anybody there been aware of the economy? The emtional and mental stress this caused me was unbelievable and I called later to find out what the deal was and they were just as rude and uncaring. Now I have a dog that is lame because they refused care and it was to late to go somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Went in for a spay & booster shots, charged for exam....ok. However; I told them that shed been itching a lot & asked them to check her shoulders while there, under anesthesia (and me being charged for an exam). They called regarding the itching & wanted to swab & charge to re-check her ears! Since she had recently started taking ear drops, I said no. Litterally, just a couple of days later, I took hear in because there were patches of fur missing where shed been scratching. BOOM! ANOTHER EXAM CHARGE!!!!!!!

Hopes Alive

I have been bringing my dachshund to the Big Lake, then later the St. Michael clinic since he was a puppy. He is now 15 years old. He sees Dr. McAlpin who knows him well. Always attentive and quick to return calls of concern. My dachshund has been through so much, and I partially credit the excellent care he has received at these clinics. The receptionists at the St. Michael clinic are friendly and professional, and they truly care about the pets that are brought in to the clinic.

Its great to have a vet that genuinely cares about their patients. I took my dog in for a check up because something didnt seem quite right, they checked him out and didnt seem to find an issue. I was surprised though, to receive a phone call the next day asking how he was. Its nice that their care doesnt just stop when the visit is over, they really go above and beyond.

Switching clinics from this one even though we live easily within walking distance. They would not price match heartworm costs, even though they did it last year for us. Then refused to authorize the prescription that we ordered through 1800PetMeds. We tried to call multiple times and the extremely rude receptionist, Cindy Lehn, was completely not willing to help at all.

The vets and staff at St. Michael are amazing. We have been taking our beagle there ever since we got her. We are so pleased with how the staff treats us and her when we go there. They care so much about the animals. They answer any questions we have and are always available if we need them.

I love this vet clinic! They have always taken great care of my animals! I wouldnt take my fur babies any where else! Even through the rough times when we lost a pet, these wonderful people were dedicated to helping keep our animals comfortable!

We stopped by there several years ago for their grooming services, and since then Ive taken my dog to see the vets there. The doctors are great and you can trust them with your dogs health and safety. The staff is professional too.

The doctors and staff at St. Michael Vet Clinic have been very good to my pets. They are always available and they check on my animals after their appointments. They love to know how my dogs are doing after their visits.
