I had a 2:30 appt. for a Heb B injection....I was right by Walgreens so I stopped in at 12:48 thinking I could go ahead and get the injection....I signed in at 12:50....sat down and then was told that they were leaving for lunch....even though the sign-in says 1:00 - 2:00 for lunch break...she then proceeded to tell me to come back at 2:00 and put the "at lunch" sign on the counter....I told her I was only for an injection and it was 10 til 1:00 and she said, "Sorry, we are going to lunch we just had our last appt for the morning". SO I went over to the pharmacy, waited in line BEHIND 2 other people...got the injection thru the pharmacy and was out the door at 1:05....that is with waiting behind 2 other people getting prescriptions. I dont understand WHY she could not have gone ahead and had the nurse practitioner give me the inject AT 12:50. I have used the take-care clinic before without any problems....this just made no sense to me that she WOULD NOT EVEN ask the nurse practitioner if she wanted to give the injection to me AT 12:50. :(

I arrived Friday morning @ 11:50. Signed in for the earliest available appt for 12:20. By noon, the nurse was taking my vitals and other info. By 12:15 I was meeting with the nurse practitioner and she had diagnosed my sore throat as Strep. After a short wait for my prescription, I was on my way home. However, what impressed me the most was a follow call that I received the next day. During my visit, she gave me a recommendation on how to treat another issue that I was dealing with. On her follow-up call, she gave me another recommendation that she was given by a co-worker. Thank you for the excellent service!!!!! I would highly recommend this clinic location for their service and friendly staff.

I took off work early to get to the clinic before 6:30, but, when I arrived I couldnt log in my information was told to wait for the receptionist. After about 10 minutes the woman came out and advised me that she couldnt see me without an appt. I said it says you take walk ins and you are open til 7:30. She said they do take walk ins but you call and they set you an appt. up. That is false advertising as that is not the definition of walk in. She refused to see me even though there was not one person in line and it was an hour before they closed. I understand that this clinic is SSM Health Express not Walgreens, they have made a mistake in contracting this out.Not very patient friendly what so ever.
