I had severe tooth pain and no dental insurance. My friend suggested Aspen as they do a "free" exam. The dentist poked at the tooth that was hurting repeatedly without anesthetic and then told me I need a root canal before finishing the exam. I was then told that I had gum disease so bad it was affecting my bone density and I needed to take care of it immediately if I wanted to keep my teeth. When I went into the back to speak with the woman about proceeding with dental work, I was quoted $1700 as well as $77 for the exam. They claimed that because the dentist couldnt finish the exam because of my crying, it didnt qualify as a full, free exam I explained that I did not have $1700 or $77 and they continuously tried to get me to schedule another appointment, at one point suggesting I pay less to have the tooth extracted (a front tooth, by the way) They finally agreed to waive the $77 fee and I left. I called another dentist and went the next day. The tooth that Aspen claimed needed a root canal and a crown had chipped enamel and dentin OBVIOUSLY exposed to my current dentist. I recieved a cleaning and something painted over the exposed dentin and now Im fine. My teeth are quite healthy and I did not need any serious work. One appointment. No root canal. No $1700 immediately or your teeth will fall out. No bull. Dont go to Aspen if you want a competent dentist, with or without insurance.

I went to the Bridgeton office, because of a toothache. Well I have dental insurance, but instead of the lady Misty informing me that dont accept my insurance. She filled out a financial application for over $4,000 dollars. Im confused because what since does it make to get a loan for the portion my insurance will cover?. In what world does that make any sense?. She knew they didnt accept my dental insurance, and instead of telling me that, She attempted to get me financed. Then on top of that she calls my insurance company, to get the amounts they cover. Then she pretends she can understand what the Rep is saying. I hate to say it!!!!. But if you dont have dental insurance, your best bet is to go to a clinic where your treatment is based off your income. Or If in the event you have dental insurance. Call your insurance company, and find a in-network dentist. Their horrible, and I would never go back there.

did not have a appointment tried calling to get one but they said it would be over a month to be seen. I had bad tooth pain then i had a big piece of my tooth break off and its cutting my tongue someone finally said i could try a walk in. I went in at 1:15pm set there until about 4:45 and they did the xrays and a exam but said they could not work on it because it was to late said the cost of the extraction was going to be over twice what the price list showed was told that price was for a simple extraction and this one was going to be surgical but how would you know if you had not tried the other way first the last tooth i had removed was broken too and further back and the dentist said it came out easy and gave me a discount but he is retired now. the staff has been really nice

I have a fear of dentists - have since I was a kid when I had a really bad experience. Since that experience, I have been bouncing around from dentist to dentist and havent seen one in about two years until today. Such a great experience. The staff at this location is amazing. Hannah, the hygienist, knows her stuff. Shes gentle and my mouth didnt feel like I chewed a handful of glass when she was completed (like I said - Ive had bad experiences). For the first time, Im actually looking forward to going back for my six month followup. Their prices are very reasonable (I dont have dental insurance), so that was my main drive to go to Aspen. Now knowing that the clinical and support staff are so awesome, Ill be coming back here for a very long time!

The worst dentist in the whole world. Never go there. I dont know where to start. All the staff is rude. I went there three times for cleaning, three simple filings and bleaching. I have great insurance and prepaid 200$ +299 for the bleaching procedure. Now they send me bill for 117$. Its so hard to communicate with them and I dont understand how 3 filings and cleaning cost more than 300$ out of the pocket. On top of it every time I visited them had to wait at least 40 min. and their explanation is that they are very busy. Now two of the filings would give me pain and they said that I would need a crowns for those two.??????? What I wrong with those people. I am never ever doing anything with Aspen dental. I suggest you do the same!

I did not like it. I made an appointment for cleaning 3 months in advance then said they dont so them after 4pm. All of it was mixed up. The guy doing the finance said he tried calling ahead of time to explain it all. What a joke. He called while I was at work the day before late afternoon when I got home you were closed. Calling a few hours ahead of time is not calling in advance. The dentist didnt seem very experienced. I did not like the way they do xrays either. As I was walking in a lady and her son coming out she said what a waste of time they did nothing, I felt like then something was not right. Seems to be a scam just to make a lot of money not really worried about the patients care. The building was clean and looked new.

The best staff all around, after going to a few dentist then went to Aspen, what a great experience i had they were friendly and actually listened to my my concerns as well. and after the X-rays and the check of my teeth, they explained all my options instead of here is what we are going to do. which was nice to actually say i want to do this and they made it happen. and when i went back for next visit they use your name, yes they are still new in the area but still nice they take the time to know their customers and treat you like a person not just another face..keep up the great work.

Everyone seemed nice while we were there. But when they tell us our son needs $12,000 worth of work, yep thats a jaw dropper! But my husband called and asked about extractions, the dentist refused because my son is only 17. And they basically treated my husband like an idiot, basically treating him like hes poor and if we cant afford the dental care our son needs, then we need to find a dentist we can afford. So needless to say we are looking for a new place to go!

Waited 2 months for an appointment. Got there for my appointment and they tell me the lady that cleans teeth left early. Like you all could have called me to notify me /reschedule, ANYTHING. I will never recommend or return to this place. Waste of time. Seriously! I should have went with my first mind and went to a more professional place/private practice. Read the reviews, go at your own risk.
