My first visit to Chesterfield Family Dentistry was for a routine cleaning then my second visit was for a root canal on one of my front teeth. Ive been to a number of other Dentists growing up before but NONE as clean, professional, and skilled as all of the Doctors and Staff members of CFD. The Dental hygienist who I had was fantastic, friendly, and worked so softly and quickly I couldnt believe it. I got their x ray process was incredible you could tell it was top of the line technology speaking...Dr. Silva was extremely informative about my x rays and the reasoning behind me needing a Root canal, at first I was overwhelmed because Ive never had that kind of dental work done before (nothing more than a cavity and my experience with those were awful) When I came in for my root canal I was fearing the worst but quite honestly when it was all said and done the root canal done by Dr. Silva was the easiest medical procedure Ive ever gone through, I was comfortable the entire time and not one it of it was painful (Ive had cavity fillings that were way worse then Dr. Silvas Root canal) I cant imagine ever going to another dental practice, I have referred everyone I know and they have ALL changed practices. My son is 3 1/2 and I will be making an appointment with Dr. Silva and his staff very soon and couldnt be happier.

I have been Dr. Lorenzs patient for years and now the practice is taken over by Dr. Silva. Dr. Lorenz ran a modest, traditional, no-frills practice with no fancy environment. Dr. Silva has revamped the place with fancy equipment and furniture. And, clearly he wants to make more money from the patients too. He seems to be a good dentist. I have made two visits to him so far and he has already sold one procedure to me. I am not too sure if I really needed it, but then I thought, what the heck. I have to say he did a great job with the procedure. I later found that part of the procedure was not covered by my insurance and I ended up paying a lot more than what I was counting on. An efficient dentist, though.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Lorenz for over 30 years. He has always been gentle and concerned about his patients comfort and health. He helps put you at ease if you are a little worried about your visit. His office is a relaxed and friendly place that puts you to ease, as well. My children saw him as youngsters and now as adults still go to him. I recently had caps put on my front teeth and can not be more pleased with the result!! JG

He does a great job explaining the necessary procedures and making sure you are comfortable while he is working. The massage chairs and TVs are a nice distracting bonus!
