I only put stars in order to be able to warn others about this hospital and I figured more stars would be kept at the top of the list to read. They hire Ill practicing doctors who are neglectful and inconsiderate. We just bought a kitten Sunday who turned out to be sick and weve gone to multiple doctor appointments since then.we took him to this doctors office and the doctor was rough with our sick kitten, hardly gave him a look over and told us that he didnt wanna say for certain but nothing is garentered in life and he couldnt tell us if our cat would get better and gave us medicine and said all we can do is hope for the best in the end and laughted. He saw how sick our cat was and it got worse over the week till now ( he did show signs of getting better for the last couple of days that we werw instructed to look for) and neglected to tell us even though we tried everything the vet said and he didnt seem to want to deal with the problem because he already saw it was to far past for there clinic to treat. he treated our Odien like he was already a lost cause so why bother. We tried the medicine and all instructions given to us trusting these people to help us and today he died but before he passed we took him to a real animal emergency hospital before he did, who said if we would have brought that kitten to them they would have even from looking over, given him an iv drip and antibiotics immediately and kept him for observation because he was malnourished and extremely sick from the place we bought him from even though we did our research, did regular check ups on the kittens and have done nothing wrong, even when finding out the kitten was sick we made sure someone was there to keep an eye on him and make sure he ate proper and kept hydrated and took his medicine and the paste they gave us regularly as directed to keep his appetite and energy up. They said they would never do what this doctor did and let us take home our new kitten while in that condition and if we would have brought him to there hospital instead he would have more likely had a chance to survive because they would have made more if an effort to help our family save Odien instead of treating it like an unwanted problem.

I have been going to Mexico Road for over 15+years. Dr. Buchheit and Dr. Holt are the only ones I let take care of my 4 legged babies. Anybody that takes care of my doggies this close are family. Dr. B has done several emergencies runs after hours to help me, when one became sick all of a sudden. Hes done surgery on my Brussel Griffon knees and made him a new lil man. I recently loss my 16 yr Pom and Dr. H call me and told me he wasnt doing well after office closed. I immediately ran up and he let me stay with my little boy and spend time before I had to let him go to the rainbow side. I was there for the hold process. And he let me stay afterward until I was ready to hold him. This was after 9pm at night. They are wonderful doctor and spend more time with your pet that your human medical doctor. Can I get a Amen! The rest of the staff ladies Stacy, Sandra, Nikki know me and my love for my 4 kids. They are always taken care of during the good time and the sad time. They are family...Thank you Mexico Family for alway taking care of US.

The vets at this clinic are mysoginistic, homophobes who would rather let your dog die than admit their mistakes. My dog was prescribed a routine medication for an ear infection and a week later her kidneys began to fail. We took her back to see this vet and after a few days of no improvement, we overheard the doctors laughing, saying they had no idea what was wrong with our dog and that she had a week to live. They would not let us pick up our dog. After threatening to report them to authorities, we took her to an emergency vet where it was discovered the medication they prescribed her was not meant to be given to her breed because it is known to cause kidney failure. I wouldnt trust these people with a stuffed animal.

We have been taking our dogs there for over ten years and I would not go anywhere else. All three vets are wonderful. Here is a list of reason I like them: 1. They remember your name 2. They gave one of my dogs a blood transfusion using their own dog and did not charge us. 3. When my Aussie recently died they stayed with me and my son to help us through the pain. 4. There pricing is more than competitive. 5. They take as much time as we need to ask questions. 6. I dont agree with the receptionist issue. They are equally easy to work with and compassionate. I could go on, but I think you get the idea!

Horrible place. I wanted x rays done to see if my dog had a blockage all they did was put a thermometer up his butt and said he was fine. I can not believe how horrible this place is. X rays should have been taken and my puppy should have been seen about. I dont recommend anyone to go there unless you want to be told some bullshit scam story about what you should feed your dog. They recommend purina because purina pays them to sell their product. Plus it stinks so bad get ready to hold your nose!

Nikki who seems to be the only one who answers the phone has ZERO phone etiquette. She was monotone and dismissive. I was calling for rates because of the great things I have heard about the location. Her demeanor on the phone has almost put me off of giving them a try as our new vet services. Hopefully the vets are as wonderful with the animals as I have heard which will make it worth it to deal with Nikki anytime I have to call. My review is ONLY for Nikki not the vets or hospital as a whole.

We purchased a kitten about 10 months ago & have been nothing but happy with this clinic. The vets are credible, empathetic, trustworthy & take the time to explain things in lay terms. They have taken good care of my kitten during her health challenges. I highly recommend this clinic. I was also referred by a good friend of mine who has had numerous pets & been a client of Dr. Buchheits for over 20 years. He has always provided quality care & his prices are affordable & fair.

A-MAZING! I have been to many vets in my time having pets, and this is by far the best one I have ever found. They do not charge an office visit fee, in return they only take cash or check. Also they have spade 2 of my dogs and the incision was no bigger than an inch (pretty impressive). Also took both dogs in for shots only cost about $70. They are fantastic and great about returning calls at the end of the day. I recommend them everytime I get the chance.

We have been going to Mexico Road for almost 20 years. I can not believe how caring they are with my pets. I currently have 3 cats and I would not trust them at any other place. Even when we had dogs I felt the same way. I feel their prices are the most reasonable when I talk to my friends who go other places. They have worked me in more than once when something seems wrong with my furry family. Would not even consider going any where else!
