Ive had a cat my entore life and before June 2014 I used a different animal hospital. They were not friendly, never remembered me, and I couldnt walk out for under $200 for every visit. In June of 2014 a friend of mine found a small kitten in the engine of her vehicle and posted a picture of her on FB. I responded and took the kitten. I called Dr. Kelly Brister (her sons and my son play football together) and she came over and looked her over for me. She told me she thought she was pretty tiny for her age and asked me to make an appointment and bring her in to her clinic, Cave Springs Pet Hospital. For 4 years I had only known Dr.Brister as Kelly,football mom, so this was the first time seeing her in action with my pet. We named our new kitten Hollis and on her first appointment she weighed 1.9 lbs.age estimated to be 7 weeks. In less than a week Hollis condition worsened and when I brought her in again she was down to 1.45 lbs!!! Dr. Brister explained the hard truth to me that Hollis needed to improve in the next 24 hours or I would need to consider euthanasia. My kids and I were devastated. She sent us home with canned food and a prescription. In about 4 days Hollis started to slowly improve adding an ounce or two a day to her tiny little body. Even Dr. Brister was amazed. Every single time I bring Hollis in the receptionists remember us, well probably more than likely they remember Hollis because shes pretty darn cute. I am warmly greeted every time I enter Cave Springs Pet Hospital. There is a separate entrance for cats and dogs, and they are extremely punctual. And when its time to pay I dont have heart failure at the cost. For the first time as a pet owner Im not avoiding the vet because of over-priced vet services.

I just wanted to say how wonderful everyone treated our family member. He got hit by a car and other places were telling us how his outlook wasnt good, but Cave Springs Pet Hospital tried and put a plate in his hip and he is on his way to being back to normal. He has a way to go but he is getting there. Everyone treated him with so many pats and good dog that he felt at home. I most defiantly would recommend this place to everyone! So I send a Big Thank You to you all for everything you did!

I was very impressed with my visit to Cave Springs Pet Hospital for my dogs vaccine shots last week. They were very prompt, and I was put into an examination room and seen by the doctor within minutes of my arrival. The staff were all very professional, friendly, and helpful. My dog was very nervous but the doctor did wonderful with her. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to a friend and plan on returning again for future visits whenever my dog needs medical care.

Dr Carter has been our pets doctor for many years now; however, this was Gizmos first visit to the Cave Springs Pet Hospital. We were given a tour; the hospital is very nice and clean. The Receptionist who greeted us was very friendly and made us feel welcome, and our wait time was short. Gizmo was only there for a rabies shot; however, Dr. Carter made several recommendations for her home care. I highly recommend the Cave Springs Pet Hospital for your pets care.

Just went to my new patient visit (which is FREE minus any shots or nail trims you need...how nice!) with my cat, and I can see why this place gets such wonderful reviews. Everyone was so friendly and caring! They kept my little guy calm during the exam and shots, which to me is one of the most important things in a vet hospital. Plus, they have separate entrances for cats and dogs! Im very happy with my choice of cat care.

Highly, highly recommend this place. They love my cats and are very professional. I see Dr. Brister and she treats my animal as if they were her own. Granted mine are scared every time, I know they are getting the proper care. Tried Spencer creek animal hospital and it was horrible. Cave springs is a definite must go to. Prices arent bad, whereas Spencer creek was unbearable.

We have been with Cave Springs for over 15 years. You will not find a more friendly, helpful and caring staff. The Doctors are wonderful and top notch. They have cared for four of our cats over the years and we would not take them anywhere else. They seem to love the pets that they care for. They send reminders and even pet birthday notices to your home.

First time visit and considering we have a veterinarian in the family, it was strange to take my dogs to strangers. BUT, very friendly clinic and extremely clean! My dogs seemed to enjoy the visit- including shots!. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a clinic in St Charles county as it is near Hwy 70 in St Peters.
