Sammy (15yrs Maltese)was a HUGE part of my life, he was with me after 5 years moving here and was with me through my 13 yr mistake. He was my heart. Loosing him has been extremely difficult. He was my baby before I ever thought about having a human baby. The most difficult for me was his passing. It wasnt like the tv vet shows or movies where they go peacefully, they didnt sedate him before hand and he felt it and jumped into my arms yelping, looking at me as though to say Why, mommy?.. I literally feel guilty. It was suppose to be the humane option due to his kidneys were shutting down but it totally felt like I murdered him. Nothing that anyone will say will change it. I called the vet a day afterwards and was told it was natural. Some animals respond that way. How can that be natural? Every other place sedate them so that horror show doesnt happen. I still have problems sleeping. The whole situation was horrible. Plus Scooby was there because I guess you are suppose to bring them so they realize he is gone and dont look for them and Elizabeth was there because we thought going into it that it was going to peaceful and a way to say goodbye.. they all cried, Scooby yelped and shook and Elizabeth screamed and I lost it.. bawling uncontrollably.. it was horrible. An experience I will NEVER forget.

I had been buying special food for my moms old cat here for the past year because it was lower priced than the other veterinarians in the area. He passed away 2 weeks ago, tho, so when she got her new cat from the Humane Society she decided to have me take him here to get declawed instead of to her old veterinarian. They perform laser surgery instead of the old fashioned way with the scalpel. It was amazing how fast the cat recovered. I picked him up 2 days after his surgery was completed and he was walking and playing just fine. He wasnt in any pain and he was healing up wonderfully. I recommend this veterinarian to anyone looking for a good place to take their animals.

The doctors here are wonderful and the staff so polite and help. Surgical team is quite excellent. I took my rabbit here to get spayed, and shes already up and happy 24 hours later. She doesnt have any issues at all it appears. I also take my dogs here for their care and they never seemed scared again after the first visit! Highly recommended!

I have been taking my 4 Jack Russell Terriers here for years. My oldest is 14 years old. Its great place for routine care & emergencies. Dr Howard is amazing. He does a great job explaining get things and is very through. The staff are always kind and helpful. I never have to wait to get appointment. I will never go

I purchased my 3rd parakeet from pet smart off 72nd and dodge. Beautiful albino baby but she was very sick and not at all in good condition. They kept her there for two nights and now shes much more adventurous. Thank you for saving my Noodle
