My boyfriend has a larger dog (huskie) that is getting pretty old. He was waking up in the night in fits of pain that would sometimes last all night. His regular vet basically gave him pain medicine and antibiotics incase of an infection (on two separate occasions), but none of that was a permanent solution. After some investigation, I finally found this place and was able to talk him into making an apt. (because I am sure like most of you, think this pseudo-medicine doesnt do anything). We have been taking Jake there for about 2 months now, and since then there have been no fits of pain in the middle of the night. The doctor we see is wonderful (it is a man, not quite sure on the name). And all the staff that have contact with Jake (mostly via laser therapy) are amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who cares about their pet and is interested in trying something different that really can make a huge impact on the life of your pet. Like I told my boyfriend, you try it and worst case scenario it doesnt work- at least you know. But I am here to tell you we have seen results, in fact, his dog is actually able to move better than when we first went there. I see someone posted that they took there dog there for grooming (which, why??) and it got fleas?? I am not sure about that exactly, and I feel that place doesnt deserve a bad rap like that. We have been taking him there almost every week for the past few months and he has never gotten fleas! Maybe the dog was allergic to something in the grooming that gave them hives, not fleas. I would be cautious about believing that post!

I never write reviews but I couldnt be happier with this vet! I took one of my great danes here after she had been having digestion issues. I was looking for a holisitic vet because the last place she had been to kept prescribing her antibiotics that werent working, recommended removing her anal glands, and were also very rude and impatient with my dog. The doctor we saw at Five Elements was not only super patient with my dog but extremely informative. She asked me questions about her that most doctors dont ask so she could figure out what is really going on. The doctor ended up giving her acupuncture and recommended a new food to try based on what I told her was wrong. She went into detail about the food and why it will help her. After switching her food, her stool is completely normal and she is no longer having problems with her anal glands (sorry if that grosses people out). She goes back to get more acupuncture at the end of the month. I cant recommend them enough after my experience and will definitely be bringing my other dog here as well. Oh and it is reasonably priced!!

Five Elements is hands down the best veterinary clinic in Omaha, especially if your dog has joint issues , chronic disease or skin issues. The doctor treated my dogs issues from every angle, food, vitamins & treatment program. We did traditional, underwater rehab with my 110 lb dog 3 days a wk for FIVE months & she still wouldnt walk - within 2 weeks with Dr. Jenn she was walking, a month later, she was RUNNING! My Pug/Chihuahua had mange & infections - NO amount of mediation worked - Dr. Jenn treated him with food, vitamins, herbs & laser & within a month all of his hair was growing back, NO more problems since. Seriously - WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! Thank you Five Elements staff!

Ive brought several dogs to Five Elements for treatment. Both Dr. Grant Hebel and Dr. Michelle Eckerman provided excellent care. Five Elements has access to a full complement of treatment modalities which, combined with my vets care, have eliminated pain and increased mobility in my dogs. All the staff are exceptionally caring and we look forward to seeing them. We especially appreciate the pool! Working in it has decreased back pain in one of my dogs and has enabled a foster to recover use of her back end after being hit by a car. For the care provided, and the results - which were far beyond anything drugs provided, Five Elements is reasonably priced.

I contacted Five Elements on the advice of a friend. I was looking for a second opinion. My interaction with Tracy (Vet Tech) was stellar. Tracy listened to me, was genuinely empathetic, and responsive. Tracy took my concerns to the Vet and promptly returned my call. I was provided with reassurances, advice, and treatment options. Considering I was not yet a client (or more approrpiately, my dog was not a patient), to be treated with this level of consideration, care, and professionalism was a tremendous experience. Highly Recommend !

I brought my German Shepherd Dog to Five Elements because I had no interest in giving him drugs for his pain. Its so refreshing to have alternative care available in Omaha for animals. For years, there was nothing of the sort to be found. Five Elements is YEARS ahead of other vets who are just now tinkering with the idea of adding chiropractic or acupuncture to their practices to boost revenue. Theyre the experts. Go see them.

I take all of my active competition sport dogs there, as well as my 14 year old retired agility dog. They keep my dogs in great shape and make sure they are feeling their best. I think they are able to perform better and recover faster because of the treatment they get at Five Elements. Love the Drs and love the staff!

Checked with PPN when one morning my pug couldnt use her back legs. Sugg. was try 5 Elements. Got in next day :) She is now walking, running and learning to do stairs again. Thank you 5 Elements you are all GREAT. And not expensive, my vet would have charged more for nothing. Very well worth the drive from Lincoln.

This place is Awesome! The Doctors and staff are all so kind, caring, and gentle. Weve got two Cats. One cat thats nice and likes to cuddle. And one cat thats mean and aggressive. I was impressed with how well they were able to care for both cats. Seriously, this place is amazing!

Five Elements treated my little neurologically challenged boy Baxter for several years. Their expertise in chiropractic and laser therapies along with their compassion helped give him several years of really good movement and a wonderful quality of life! Pam Wiese

Just took my dog in for a grooming today. Only to come to find out that he got fleas from there. He is allergic to fleas this is how I know he didnt have them before because he is now covered in hives and wasnt at the beginning of the day. Would not recommend.

Absolutely the best place to take your pet! My dog had expensive spinal surgery and was still not walking afterward. With the help of the wonderful staff at Five Elements he is walking again and regained control of his bodily functions.

Our little mini-dachshund has back problems as many dachshunds do. Dr. Jen treats her with kindness and wisdom. She has saved Gabi from surgery.

A little hard to find but well worth it if your pet needs their care. Our dog has back issus and their treatments work wonders.
