I would not recommend Seven Hills Pet Hospital to my worst enemy. Do not take your beloved pet there! Saturday, June 28, 2014 my beloved dog, Penelope, a terrier-mix, was playing outside and ran into a pile of cut palm fronds. My husband heard her cry out and went outside to find her paralyzed with pain and a palm frond sticking out of her front right leg. He tried to pull it out, but felt that there was still a piece of palm frond stuck in her leg. She was limping and in obvious pain. Because it was Saturday night, our usual (FANTASTIC) vet was not open, so he searched and found the closest vet to Anthem, which was Seven Hills Pet Hospital. Seven Hills Pet Hospital had to sedate Penelope to look at her arm; because she can be difficult. She is a rescue dog and did not have any experience with veterinarians prior to us adopting her. Please note, our usual vet NEVER has to sedate her to examine her. Looking back, we should have left Seven Hills Pet Hospital right then. However, they told him they would shave the area and check the wound to ensure that all debris was removed. My husband left her there to have her wound thoroughly examined and cleaned. When he returned, they said that they did not find anything in the wound, they cut it open to examine it and that she was fine. Her arm was bandaged up and she needed to keep the bandage on for a week. Seven Hills Pet Hospital gave her two prescriptions: one for pain and antibiotics. Then charged us $255 for their “care.” On July 8, 2014, her bandage was removed, the medicine was out and Penelope had developed two bumps the size of a gumball at the site of the injury. I took her to our normal vet to be examined; she was not limping, but I was concerned about the lump. Our Vet said that she was not affected by the bump and to keep an eye on it. If it grew or changed shapes, bring her back. He gave her another two weeks of antibiotics. I researched online and thought it was a hematoma or sertoma because of the surgery incision and would be absorbed by the body in 5-6 weeks. August 5, 2014 the lump began bleeding. I brought her into our vet immediately and the Vet pulled out an inch and a half needle-like palm frond from Penelope’s arm. He stated that he thought there was something else in the wound and needed to cut the wound open to ensure that there was no additional debris in the wound. Isn’t that what Seven Hills Pet Hospital already did? NO. In surgery, the Vet pulled out another, thicker palm frond from her wound. Seven Hills Pet Hospital is completely incompetent in their treatment to miss the large debris pulled from Penelope’s arm. I drove directly to Seven Hills Pet Hospital from our vet and told them about what happened. I have a copy of our Vet’s notes from Penelope’s file and the TWO palm fronds to show them. Seven Hills Pet Hospital refused to refund my money. Contact me for pictures of the palm fronds.

We had a puppy vomiting with diarrhea and took him to Seven Hills Veterinary. He was seen by Dr. Sabharwal and given a stool check for worms. Puppy became sicker as a day passed. We took puppy in to an emergency hospital where they conducted at $55 parvo virus check that used a stool sample from a q-tip. Puppy tested positive. By then puppy was so sick, he needed 24-hour care. At night he was at an emergency hospital, and during the day we sent him to Seven Hills for constant monitoring of his electrolytes, hydration, etc. Yet every evening our pup was sicker than when we checked him in during the day for care. After 3 days of frustration of pups regression in Dr Sabhawarls care, we asked him why. No clearcut answer. We then asked him why he didnt give our pup the parvo test that used a stool check like the one he performed on the first day to check for worms, his answer was, "We do not have parvo virus in this area". We immediately took our pup to another vet clinic during the day, and he improved steadily. Dr. Sabhawarls lack of assessment of our pups vomiting and diarrhea symptoms caused our pup to suffer longer and our vet bill to be higher. Any kind of a discount...given by this clinic has to be scrutinized...do you really know for sure if your pet was given anesthesia or treated with TLC? Pets cant talk...luckily for some veterinarians.

This would be been a five star review if I didnt have this one important complaint. From the time that I called this animal hospital, the service was exceptional. The receptionists that helped me set my first appointment over the phone, and the women who helped me in person were very informative, pleasant and patient. However, my complaint lies with the doctor that saw my puppy. He came in and seemed to be rushing from the way his body language was portrayed and the way he spoke to us regarding the dog. My puppy was there for his 9wk vaccinations. The doc came in, didnt physically check my dogs body, mouth, eyes, breathing or anything. He then gave him his vaccines, and began to gather his supplies to exit before I stopped him with a question. My partner also had questions, and I had to tell him to wait because he was brushing all of our concerns off as if they werent important at the moment. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I will be going back because I purchased a Wellness plan through them for my puppys first year. I am hoping to see another doctor, or that this particular one takes his head out of the clouds and his nose out of the air. He should show more interest in the well being of his patients. To the girls up front, thank you.

My cat had suddenly begun vomiting, looked really dehydrated and was drinking a lot of water. I knew something was wrong so I rushed her in to Seven Hills Pet Hospital. The doctor did a full exam and asked me all the right questions (which led us to do lab testing). We soon found out she had renal failure; I was really worried because I have never had a pet who had something this serious. They kept her at the hospital on fluids for a few days, she also got injections and her favorite food that I brought from home. I would get calls through out the day, each day, letting me know that she was eating well or that she seemed perky and happy which really put me at ease knowing how she was while I couldnt be there. They repeated a blood test and urinalysis after her fluid treatment and got good news! Her values went back to normal and I was able to take her home. I make sure to bring her in for testing or routine visits, and I feed her a renal support food to help keep her healthy. I am SO happy that I found Dr. Sabharwal with his kind and helpful staff. I wouldnt know what I do now with out everyone answering all of my questions and telling me exactly what I needed to know. Thank you!

I am not a Fake, I am a real customer and can speak only from my own experiences. My dog and cat are both patients of Seven Hills Pet Hospital and have received great care there. My little kitty was spayed there, and was well taken care of. The staff really made sure that she was as comfortable as she could be and received great attention. And though my Golden Retriever has not received any serious medical procedures from SHPH, he has had all of his vaccines and check ups there. He is always excited to go there and gets great attention too. The staff has always been very nice and attentive, and anytime I have needed vaccine records faxed somewhere, the staff has taken care of that very quickly for me. I feel like DR. S, Dr. Keo and all of the staff really do care about my pets and their well being. I will continue to use SHPH for my pets because of my trust in the good care that my pets will receive from there. I also have a friend that takes her diabetic cat to SHPH and has said how well the Drs and staff have been with her kitty. I have another friend that takes her dog to SHPH, and was the one that recommended me to go there, and has said nothing but good things about them.
