The doctor at this location has repeatedly refused to prescribe me monthly contact lenses...the kind I have used for the past 10 years. Instead, he continues to insist upon dailies, which happen to be 3x the price of monthly contact lenses. He went as far to specify on my prescription that I must purchase dailies, so I cannot even take my script elsewhere to be filled for less money. I have called and gone in person multiple times to ask that they please allow me to switch my script to the monthly version of the same brand, and they continue to refuse. Im not sure what the policy is at other optometrists, but this seems like such a scam to me. I have no say in the decisions that pertain to my own health at this office. I have been put on hold for 45+ minutes, been ignored, and been refused any help, so I have gone 6 months so far with no contact lenses, although the quest to obtain a script for monthlies continues. Although this location seems quick and convenient, I highly recommend that you take the time and spend the money to go somewhere more professional. My continually terrible experiences here are not worth the perceived convenience.

Ive been a customer at this location since 1998. I bought my last pair of glasses with an eye exam in January of 2000. I needed a new frame for my glasses. On Saturday 11/9/13 I went to the Salem, NH store with all of my paperwork from my last visit hoping that it may help in getting a new fame to replace my broken one. I walked in and went to an associate that was not busy and told her of my request. Without looking She abruptly told me that she had no frames to replace mine. I then asked that I could buy a new pair of glasses and handed her my booklet with all of my information. She told that she couldnt because my RX was outdated and that I had to get an eye exam first. She said she could schedule one on Sunday. I told her that wouldnt work. Before I could tell her that I worked on Sunday she repeated wont work? Got up from the desk and walked away from me. That was the last visit to your store.. I went to Walmart that same day. A helpful associate fitted my lenses into a new frame for $35. I have scheduled an appointment with A professional for new glasses.

Bought my sons glasses there about a month ago, we got the scratch resistant lens and this week we found a scratch in them. So my wife brought them back to have them fixed and the lady said that scratch resistant doesnt mean that they wont get scratched!!! And if we wanted them fixed we would have to pay for all new lens!! Wtf!! I just spent like $200.00 on his glasses now its gonna cost me another $170.00 for new lens and they wont just replace 1 they have to replace both!! I will NEVER go to lenscafter again!! They are crooks and dont stand behind there products!! I would give them a negative-5 stars if i could!!

I went to this Lenscrafters for an eye exam I had scheduled 2 days in advance. The exam took an hour and fifty minutes to my dismay. I must credit the optometrist’s time management skills because she was able to spend 45 min waiting on another patient while my eyes dilated (normally the wait time should be at or under 20 min). I feel this far from professional and their complete disregard for my time has lost them any future business from me. I would merely ask others to consider this review before making their next eye exam.

Never come here. They give you a hard time about taking your insurance even though both their website and your insurance company detail that yes, Lenscrafters takes your insurance. There was only about two people who are actually helpful everyone else confuses you and is slightly condescending.

Terrible experience here, stay away! Coming from another state, I cant believe the hoops I had to go through to get them to communicate with my previous eye doctor to get my prescription filled. Would have been more convenient to drive 4.5 hours one way to my previous optometrist.

Saw the reviews and was debating if I should even bother. Well glad I did. Very impressed with this location. Salesman was professional, and very knowledgeable. Once I get my eye exam with my opthamoligist I will returning to make my final purchase.

Great service. The saleswoman who helped me went out of her way to make sure I got a AAA discount despite forgetting my card. The exam was quick and simple, and I had my new glasses in less than 2 hours. Would definitely return.
