We have been taking our pup, Tiller, to Dr. Mulry since he was 4 months old. He is now 12 years old, and we wouldnt take him anywhere else. Weve moved about 40 minutes away, but we still make the trip to Dr. Mulry because we trust her so much. She is truly amazing. She is a super kind person and has a huge heart. I wish I could clone her as a PCP for humans! Ive never had a doctor for myself who is so patient and kind! Dr. Mulry spends so much time with us at every appointment. We never feel rushed or like she is too busy (even though we know she IS super busy all the time)! And we absolutely must drive her NUTS! But she never shows it ;) Also, she is very honest. She NEVER tries to get us to spend unnecessary money on unnecessary tests. Shes the only doctor/vet Ive been to who will tell you if an X-ray is "wasteful." (An x-ray is pretty much the quickest and easiest way for an office who has an x-ray machine to make money...but she never pushes it...which speaks a lot to her ethics and practice.) And her staff is simply the cutest and sweetest staff around. They are just as affectionate and patient as she is. It is just always such a pleasant experience, which is especially important when you are worried and stressed about the health of your pet. Truly cant say enough good things about Dr Mulry, the staff and her practice. 500 stars :) <3 <3 <3

I can’t say enough good things about this veterinary practice. I have known Dr. Mulry and her wonderful staff for over 12 years now and I am never worried for a moment when my fur babies are in their care. Dr. Mulry is one of the most knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate vets I have ever had the pleasure of treating my cat (Layla) and my dogs (DBrickashaw, Lily, and Jenkins). Layla does not make it easy either as she is quite a difficult patient. That being said Dr. Mulry has never once backed down from the challenge of keeping her healthy. Her passion for animals makes her one of those veterinarians that makes the job she does her life not a job. You can tell this in how she treats every patient she sees and how even when she isn’t working she is actively doing rescue work and generally has a foster with her. As for the rest of the staff, Sue is a joy at the front desk very caring and compassionate and always tries her best to answer your question, or squeeze you in for a visit. The technicians Steph, Kelly, and Nicole are some of the most knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate techs I have even met. They are always willing to explain everything that is going on and ease my every worry. They are amazing with my babies and I am lucky to have them care for my crew. You will not find a better veterinary clinic to care for your babies!!

Dr Denise Murry and her staff are more than just amazing. They are one of a kind. They are so good with my dog Cody he can be a bit much at times. They win him over and he gets the best treatment from them. Dr Mulry explains the treatment and the concerns to me so well so I can fully understand what I need to do to help my Cody get better. The staff is kind, understanding and knowledgeable about the care they are providing for the animals that come there daily. At the same time they are always smiling no matter what kind of day they may be having. Cody and I are very happy with Dr Mulry and her superb staff. Cody has been doing better since he has been with them. We love it there.

I was in need of a new vet for my puppy three years ago. I researched a few vets in the area and decided on Healing Paws Veterinary Care in Elmwood Park. It was the Best Choice I made for my pup! The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The waiting area and exam rooms are very clean. Dr. Mulry and her staff are sensitive and caring. They dont overbook and they understand how the "parents" feel when their pet is sick. They call the next day after a visit to see how your pet is doing. They are clear and concise with all instructions and care needed. I would absolutely recommend Healing Paws to anyone in need of a vet for their precious family member! :)

Healing Paws is by far the best veterinary care practice in the area. My mom and I have five cats, and originally had each one seeing essentially a different vet - until we found Dr. Mulry. She is a very intelligent doctor, and explains procedures very well. If you present her with the symptoms your pet is experiencing, she will think of all possible explanations, from the minor to the more severe, and will treat your pet accordingly. The veterinary technicians are also very friendly and compassionate, and the prices are sensible. Cannot recommend Healing Paws enough!

The office is extremely clean; I never have to wait; it is a pleasant experience every time. Dr. Mulry & everyone in her staff go above & beyond to answer all of our questions; make us, & most importantly our pets feel comfortable. We adopted our dog, Brian, with the help of Dr. Mulry & her amazing staff. I had a great experience at Healing Paws. Dr Mulry is a wonderful veterinarian who cares most about the well being of her patients. Everything she does is done with the animals welfare in mind. She is always open and honest about any problems and is clear about what needs to be done. Highly recommended, she is a very intelligent doctor and can be trusted with any issues your pet may have. Disregard the poor review below, a little research will show that same review posted by a different person on yelp, so most likely a false review.

Terrible experience at this vet and will certainly not come back. The vet is very arrogant and only has vague answers for any concerns - if she even addresses you directly at all. All they care about is money at this veterinary, I had invalid charges on my card for procedures that were not yet performed only to say that it is too late to perform the procedure (I already paid for) only two weeks after. Shameful way to run a business, Im glad to have found a much more trustworthy and friendly veterinary elsewhere.

Dr. Mulry and her staff are absolutly wonderful, always friendly and very knowlegable. I have been taking my dogs to her since they were puppies (over 10 yrs) and she is always kind, gentle and compassionate. There have been several times when i called and needed to get in quickly, and she has ALWAYS made time for me and my babies and never rushed me along...always took the time to thouroughly check them out. There truly arent enough words to describe Dr Mulry and the entire staff at Healing Paws. The go above and beyond in their treatment and dedication to their clients and their clients families. My loveable cat struggles with a chronic condition that can flare up at anytime, and no matter when I call, Healing Paws is there to help him. I cant thank them enough for all they do. My cat and my family are very blessed to have them as caregivers! They are purr-fect!
