I just love this place and all of the staff. They are all so nice and friendly and helpful and they really show sincere concern for you and for your pet. The office staff always greet you with a friendly hello and if you become a regular they remember who you are and the name of your pet. They really are a great group of people. Dr. Cataldi is a wonderful and caring Vet. He takes the time to ensure you understand what he is treating your pet for and then thouroughly goes over all the medicine and procedures you need to follow at home. He is so knowledgeable about all aspects and takes the time to show that he cares. If he is not available for some reason he has two other Vets who also are so nice and friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Its so nice to know that if for some reason I cant get to see Dr. Cataldi that he has two additional very capable Vets to help you. His Vet assistants in the exam rooms are also great people. You know that they care about the pets and they also care about the owners who are so concerned about their pets. They assisit the Dr. but they also make you aware of what is taking place and at times will ask for your assistance by speaking to the pet or holding them in a certain way. I am so very happy and pleased with Dr. Cataldi and all of his staff. I enjoy his convenient office and hours and how they really do try to fit you in for all urgent and emergent situations. I have and will continue to recommend Veterinary Health Care Center to all my friends and family.

I have had wonderful experiences with the staff and Dr. Cataldi at VHCC. I was looking for an avian vet on google and they came up. I called, spoke with a very helpful lady who fit my cockatiel, Larry, in right away. The next day when I visited the office, the first thing I noticed was that it was very clean. Because my appointment was squeezed in due to urgency, I did have a little bit of a wait but not long at all. Dr. Cataldi was very gentle with my bird, attentive to our story and straightforward with his directions for care. He asked to see the us in a week to check progress. I was able to make a follow up appointment quickly and the charges for services were very affordable. About four days after our visit, I noticed a few behaviors that Dr. Cataldi told me to watch out for and called to be seen earlier than our scheduled appointment. Once again, the lady I spoke with was so pleasant and fit us in right away. We were seen almost immediately. Dr. Cataldi was friendly, attentive and pleased with Larrys progress despite his feather picking. He was fitted carefully with an e-collar, given some medicine and we were on our way. The follow ups appointments continue to be easily made and the charges were absolutely reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this office for feathered friends!

The staff at Veterinary Healthcare Center in Clifton are an amazing and caring group of people. I started seeing them when I was looking for a new vet for my cat, and saw Dr. Cataldis name on the website. I thought "Cataldi starts with cat" and made an appointment. When I mentioned this to a friend, I learned that she had friends who had been taking their pets there for the last 20 years, despite moving miles away, because of the excellent care they receive. The doctors are knowledgeable, well-informed, compassionate, and able to help pet parents understand every aspect of a pets health, from nutrition/diet, to medication, to environment, and age. When my senior cat was diagnosed with renal failure, the staff (especially Lynda and Lisa) were exceptionally kind and patient with me as I learned his new care routine, and went out of their way, above and beyond what is required of anyone, to help me and my cat for the last 2 years of his life. Ive adopted a new cat, and will continue to bring him to the team at Veterinary Healthcare because I know well both get the support and care we need.

Dr. Cataldi and the entire staff at Veterinary Healthcare Center have been excellent. When we acquired our puppy over 5 years ago, they were highly recommended by a customer of my wifes who is a dog trainer. We looked further into Dr. Cataldi on the internet to learn that he is highly respected as one of NJs finest vets. He has overseen the health of our four-legged family member since day one. We are fortunate to have a very health dog, however, it has been very reassurring to have all his routine checkups, vacinations, procedures and preventative medications evaluated, administered and prescribed by Dr. Cataldi each year. In addition, all documentation for registration and licensing has been flawless. Like anyone, we have many options for the healthcare of our pet. We elect to travel over 30 miles each way to have our pet cared for by the excellent and friendly staff at VHC in Clifton and have no plans on changing.

Ive known and trusted Dr. Cataldi for about 20 years. He and Dr. Thomas have treated our 3 cats and 2 dogs over the years with the knowledge and compassion a pet lover would want and expect for their family pets. They and their staff truly care about their patients, whether the visit is for routine care or something more serious. Almost five years ago we lost our dog to hemangiosarcoma, a serious blood cancer. His condition required an emergency splenectomy which diagnosed his illness. Although Dr. Thomas performed the actual surgery, both doctors were personally involved with his care and consulted, advised, and consoled us through our decision to relieve him of his pain. Theyve always treated my family with respect and understanding, and will continue to bring our pets to them with confidence and appreciation.

Dr. Herzberg and the rest of the team at Veterinary Health Care Center in Clifton are so great. Our puppy (a schweenie named Blizzard) has been going there since her first puppy check-up and they have always been so kind, gentle and welcoming. Blizzie is shy around the vet (who wouldnt be with those ice cold metal tables, and the fact that its a doctors office; no one really likes the doctors lol!) but they are so gentle and playful with her to try and make her feel most welcome. She especially loves the soft little treats they constantly feed her to keep her distracted! It also helps that we live right down the street, so its a perfect location for our family. I would definitely recommend it because its a nice, intimate practice with friendly personnel! Your pet will be welcomed, safe and healthy! :)

I would not take my pets to another veterinary office! Both doctors and staff treat you and your pet with the utmost professionalism and they love your pets! The staff is pleasant, helpful and go out of their way to assist you. The doctors are always very attentive to your pets whether its for a check-up or if your pet is ill. They check the animals throughly and question you about the pet.If you have an emergency, the girls will do their best to get you in immediately to see one of the doctors and the doctors explain everything to you. These doctors are very intelligent and they will find out what is wrong with your pet without making you spend unnecessary money. The office itself is a very comfortable and clean area to wait in. They have taken excellent care of my dog, cats and parrot.
