Im writing this for my mom who once was a client here. Stay away from Lynn Arbach DVM. Took my 17month old cat for his yearly rabies shot. Rocco was also to get groomed by Kate after his checkup. (Kate is wonderful one of the best groomers ever). During our visit Arbach said that Rocco needed teeth cleaning and some teeth removed but then she said that can wait because she found a heart murmur and he needed an echo cardiogram. When I went to pick him up after his grooming I was told they could not groom him because he had a reaction to the vaccine but should be fine in a day or so. They even called me to bring him in the Thursday after when the echo tech was there which I declined because we checked with our breeders cardiologist who said it was very rare to have a heart murmur develop in a mature cat especially since he was tested before he came to us at 6month and the bridgewater vet did not find this on previous visits. Rocco the past week was getting more lethergic and wasnt cleaning himself or sitting in his favorite perch so we took him back to bridgewater where we saw dr.silver who sent us immediately to Animerge for emergency surgery because he found a large mass in Rocco"s intestine. Well we found out there was never a heart murmur and Roccos teeth were due to he was severely jaundice, his red blood cells were extremely low and his amino acids were very low. Just 1month after seeing Arbach they told us Rocco would never survive surgery and would not even survive a biopsy. They shared he would not live much longer. We made the choice to put him to sleep so he did not have to suffer. Animerge was terrific Dr Silver and Kate are great at Bridgewater Vet but if you get Dr. Lynn Arbach demand another vet. Btw:she never even noted in Roccos file that he had a reaction to his vaccinations which I found very unusual. We are brokenhearted without our big boy Rocco and his sister Mia keeps searching for him at home.

One star is too much for this over priced and poorly run place. Beware folks you go there the first few times they are nice, and then they try to get you to have many expensive procedures done on your pet. Many times you will wait a long time in the waiting room, and then the exam room, and then to pay. They show you all sorts of videos to urge you to clean your pets teeth, get un-necessary vacinations.... and they always want you to buy meds and supplies for grossly marked up prices. When you call the receptionists they are almost useless, and you wait, and then they may or may not call you back. My dog was healthy for the first 10 years we went there and then I switched and what a hugely better vet I found at Whitehouse. They are efficient, caring, and knowledgeable. And after having his teeth cleaned at Whitehouse my dog was released in half the time, and he was perky and energetic right away. In comparison the same procedure done several years prior at Bridgewater Vet my dog came home groggy and in great discomfort for a long period. I know of many people who have left this group. It is not the money, it is the way they try to steal it from you, and make your pet suffer waiting forever in their office. Please find a better vet, they are out there and you will be much happier because your pet will be much better cared for!!!

I have been going to BVH for the past 6 years and cannot say anything but wonderful things about them! Bridewater Veterinary Hospital has a very warm and knowledgeable staff. They take every effort to make you and your beloved pet feel right at home. They have advanced technology which allows for more efficient testing and treatment. Not only do they have emergency care but also provide preventative care and provide information for all the life stages of your pets life. I love how they have separte wards for dogs and cats. Another plus to this hospital is that they have an email list which gives you updates of promotions they are running along with "did you know..." emails which gives information on how to prevent illness during the different seasons and other very helpful information on how to help your pet live his/her life to the fullest. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who is looking for a vet who is caring and puts your pets health first.

My dog has a minor skin issue I wanted to have a vet look at. We are new to the area and decided to make an evening appointment. When going to the appointment, I got lost (I went to their old location) and got lost -- while on the phone with one of the receptionists to get directions, another person at the vet called. Apparently my 6pm appointment was at 5:45 (it wasnt) and it was now too late to get to my appointment and Id have to reschedule. I was only a minute away, had all of my paperwork filled out, and there was enough time for a vet to take a quick look at his problem before the next appointment. So I basically wasted half the night driving around for nothing. This office clearly doesnt care about either you or your pet. Ive never had an experience like this with any sort of medical professional, especially when Im on the phone with them trying to get directions. I will be going to another vet that values my time.

Dr. Arbach is the BEST! We went here for the first time about 2 weeks ago. Dr. Arbach spent a good amount of time reviewing my dogs medical history (a lengthy one). She asked me questions and examined my dog thoroughly which I really appreciated. I am very happy I came here. I admit when I walked in BVH it looked so nice I was worried my bill would be something I couldnt afford. I can truly say this Doctor is someone that puts the animals well being FIRST. She took her time with us which really made me feel SHE CARES! I explained I couldnt afford to do much right now (still paying off my dogs last surgery). Dr. Arbach worked with me and told me what we needed to do first step by step. She gave me quotes on what these things would cost. She really cares about you and your pets well being. I will be only going to this BVH from now on to see Dr. Arbach and I will recommend her to everyone.

I have been with BVH for years now. All of our pets go there. From the time you walk in, it feels like home. Everyone who works there have been nothing but friendly and very understanding about things. They treat your pet like they were one of their own. We had to put down a few pets, and they were great with us. We hurt and they hurt right along with you. Any questions we have about anything(even the smallest or stupid ones) they answer and make sure we are comfortable and understand the answer. They work with you to find appointments that work for you and try their best to help in any way possible. We recommend BVH to anyone who is looking for a vet. They are like family to us and dont know what our family would do without them. Thank you form Shea, Diamond, and Cooper.
