This review is based off our initial experience with Lakeview in Gibbsboro as a family since our visit included cleanings and a review of a cavity found at another dentist which I was not going to return to because they refused to give us choices for my daughters care. That said, heres my review and why I gave 5 stars: 1) The office staff was phenomenal; helpful, ready and willing to provide answers to our questions. Julie, the office manager, contacted their vendor who supplies them material for the composite filling material they use. She printed it out and put a call in to their 3M rep to ask him my questions. She said to do my research and if I have recommendations for an alternative material to let her know and she would look into it. What dentist office is willing to take into account the concerns of patients? None so far in my experience. 2) The dental technicians were so welcoming. My daughter has a lot of anxiety about dentists particularly when it comes to needles and fillings. This anxiety has extended to cleanings, too. Well, she was thrilled with Courtney, who my daughter said was both gentle and kind. Robin, who took care of my son, also got high marks for her personability and care. My wife and I both had Alex. She was a delight. She asked me questions that showed me she cared about me as a person and not merely someone who was receiving a service. 3) The Gibbsboro Office has a female doctor, Dr. Abraham. When i called the main Lakeview office I had asked about Dr. Markus who is in the Haddon Heights Office. I asked for him because I was looking for someone who was doing biological dentistry. If you do not know, biological dentists are trained in how to remove amalgam fillings in a way that protects the patient from exposure to mercury. I have been going through some health challenges that I believe were precipitated by the removal of two amalgam filings. Well my daughter was hoping for a female dentist and Dr. Abraham fit the bill. She introduced herself and answered all of my questions. She didt make me feel like I was foolish for asking. She wasnt threatened by my questions either. How did I know? Her demeanor remained pleasant and she was invested in asking her own questions about my concerns. Lastly she was conservative in her approach, not pushing for us investing in expensive treatments. Really, quite delightful. 4) The parents opinion matters at Lakeview! When we said we were not interested in flouride treatment for our children, they didnt argue. My childrens previous dentist pressured us repeatedly about flouride treatments. They made us sign a waiver the last time we refused. My only complaint: 1) Lakeview doesnt market itself as a biological dental practice. I wish they would certify a few of their dentists through the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT) and get the equipment to practice that way. They seem to be a great practice of caring professionals. Its a shame really because there is only ONE true biological dentist in South Jersey by me and that is Scott Silver. The issue with him is insurance. To me Lakeview is missing a golden opportunity to extend their brand. Learning these practices would be a wonderful way of putting the patient first by educating the public about the dangers of mercury and treating them safely. Yes, Lakeview ONLY uses composite materials; however, when I inquired about the use of a nasal mask for the safety of the patient during the removal of amalgam fillings, Dr. Abraham couldnt answer with certainty if Dr. Markus practice still included that. Her comment lead me to believe that she didnt do that. When it comes time for a replacement for my wife, Ill be following up about it for sure (and a few other pieces that define true biological dentistry practice). Who knows perhaps they do it without knowing. Well see, but if not Ill be paying extra to send her to the dentist near us who does it properly. So, I still gave them 5 stars from our first visit. I cant hold them accountable for something they dont proclaim to be.

This. place. Is. Amazing. Dr forte is ah-mazing! He is a straight shooter and wants the absolute best for you and your teeth. They put together a very lofty proposal of the work that I need to do in order to keep my teeth and it was all worth it. I now have a "c class Mercedes" in my mouth, as I like to jokingly say. But the staff here is the main reason I stayed with this practice; jade texts me for Appointments and follow up, Dockery knows I need to rinse with warmer water and always has it ready for me and always gets me a blanket (bc Im always freezing), Julie, Courtney, Marissa, and every other friendly face that has comforted me throughout many, many, very stressful and anxiety-ridden visits. It comforts me to know they understand me and generally care for my well-being. My husband now comes here too and he agrees, theyre worth every penny weve paid to them. AMAZING PLACE! This is actually the only dentist that I have ever WANTED to come back to- and THAT means sooo much. (Please excuse any typos as this was typed on a little tiny keyboard on an iPhone. Ugh.)

I dont know where to begin. I called first thing this morning with an emergency and I was seen 2 1/2 hhors later. Everyone was so nice starting with the kindness I received on the phone when I first called to the greeting I received when I first arrived to then having a sit down with the office manager to meeting Dr. Sharow prior to going to the treatment room, and the list of kudos could go on... Dr. Sharow found the cause of my pain and we have a plan to correct it He also answered all of my questions pertaining to future issues I will need address8ng. I hate going to the dentist but going to Lakeview Gubbsboro, took many of my anxieties away... Thank you Dr. Sharow and staff!!

The Staff at lakeview dental are awesome. They are very pleasant to be around and respectful to the patients needs. DR. Guthrie is a very meticulous dentist. Takes his time and gets the job done right the first time. He also takes the time to explain in detail the procedure. Basically everything you want in a dentist. He just finished my root canal and crown. The crown is fitted so well i dont even notice it. It feels like a real tooth. The dental assistant Dockery is incredible at her job. She is also very knowledgeable and skilled. Dockery explains things in detail as well. The two make a great combo. Like always, I have a great experience every visit.

The folks at Lakeview Dental are great. Ive been a customer for 10 years now. The people are friendly and always available to answer any questions you may have. They offer a wide array of payment options. The office is clean and inviting. They recently started providing sunglasses to protect your eyes from flying debris; but I find the sunglasses also makes for a better overall dental experience, since it blocks the bright dental light from your eyes and provides a privacy barrier while having work done to your teeth. Keep up the great work and keep bringing forward innovative ideas to improve the overall dental experience.

I have had some bad experiences at some dentist offices and I can truly say I am a scardy cat when it comes to a dentist. I am so glad my sister in-law gave me this telephone number to Lakeview Dental Care. I have never had a cleaning like I had today. Every one I came in contact with was very caring and warm. What I like most of all is they had the patience and the time I did not feel like I was rushed out of the office. Also they took x-rays of my teeth and it was not uncomfortable at all plus we sat down and made a payment plan. They are rated a TEN STAR IN MY BOOK Shirley McEady
