My girls and I have been going to Acorn Dental since we moved to New Jersey, 2013. We relocated from Alaska and had so many dental offices to choose from. After some research we made our first appointment. What a wonderful office who would take all of us and be so accommodating. My youngest 4 yrs. old at the time, was terrified of the dentist ( we could not get her in the chair for a cleaning) - At Acorn, they made it such a wonderful and pleasant experience, she now LOVES the dentist, Dr. Van and all the staff. We all do. A wonderful place where you feel welcome, appreciated and looked after. I recommend to everyone I meet and wouldnt go anywhere else. The patient, client and customers come first and they are wonderful everyone of the team there.

I have been going to Dr. Van Istendal for 3 years. From Day 1, I was impressed with the experience. The entire staff is friendly and personable. Every hygienist I have had, has been thorough and gentle, explaining their steps and observations. Dr. Van himself is friendly, kind, thorough, knowledgeable and trustworthy; he has indicated concerns without pressuring for any procedures. Occasional newsletters assure me that the office is up to date with current practices. My 3-year-old son recently had his first visit to the dentist, and was so comfortable that he acted like he owned the place. I would highly recommend Acorn Dental to individuals and families.

Selective person here when it comes to healthcare... I spent nearly 2 hours total on 2 separate days searching dental clinics until I settled for an appointment at Acorn Dental. I had my info transferred to Acorn Dental from my previous out-of-state dental clinic and they took care of everything in a very professional manner, had all previous X-rays on their computer screen ready for reviewing. They ask about your concerns and expectations before the dental care starts so there are no surprises for you nor them. Very nice, professional and clean office. Keep it up Acorn Dental and thank you for the coffee mug, the pastry and other goodies.

OMG ! For years I avoided going to a dentist ... I was scared ... no ... TERRIFIED ! So afraid that my oral health began to suffer ... Im embarrassed to admit it, but its the truth ! I overheard a co-worker talking positively about ACORN DENTAL ... and followed through with making an appointment ! WOW ... I feel such a fool for not caring for my teeth sooner ! Dr Van and my hygienist, Kristen put me completely at ease ... and developed a plan to improve my oral health ... Yada,Yada,Yada ... I am now so very, very happy ...and so are MY TEETH !

All the staff at Acorn are so nice. They make you feel very comfortable. You are in and out quickly. They are especially wonderful with my 6 year old son. Great place for the whole family to get dental care!
