Small office. 1 receptionist. 1 vet. Dr. Lelkes office is 30 min from my house. I pass 6 vets on the way to dr. Lelkes and I would not use anyone else for my doggies! He does not try to do a ton of tests that you don't need so he can charge more and tell you what he thought the diagnosis was all along!!! You go to a dr. Lelkes, tell him the animals symptoms, he asks a few questions (about poop etc) and then he trys to treat the most likely problem and 98% of the time, the problem goes away. ONLY AFTER DOING this and it not working, will he order more expensive tests... Not BEFORE LIKE MOST OTHER VETS!!! VERY informative. Very patient. No long waits! Worst thing about this office is you get the machine often when calling but they always call back! Our Diesel & Tank highly recommend him! So does our doggies in heaven... Sam, JR, Taylor, KC, & Fido

Been using this vet for over 20 years. People should not get upset that they dont take new patients. Its a small local vet, not a large animal hospital. The limit on patients allows the vet to give the animals the full attention that they need. If people dont like that, they should go back to their big city, otherwise deal with small town life.

After reading the review by Jessica Jolt, I called the office to confirm that they werent taking any new patients, which they arent. Instead of getting angry, I asked if they could refer any other vets. She gave me a few names of vets and clinics that have gotten great reviews from other owners. The nurse was very nice and helpful.

I just moved to Jersey from Chicago a few months ago- and need a new Vet. Once they picked up, I asked what the cost is for just a check up, because I have two cats. She then put me on hold for 5 minutes, came back to tell me that they "dont take on new people". Thanks for wasting my time. Get off Google if your not advertising.

He is kind to the animals and so helpful to the pet owners. He always makes sure the animal is taken care of before it leaves. So helpful, and knows what he is doing. Quick and easy visits! My cats seem to like him because they are calm when they go for checkups and visits.

You can tell when someone is in it for the animals, and Dr. Lelkes definitely is. My family has used this vet since I was a child. There are pet hospitals that are open 24 hours for an emergency, but on a regular day I wouldnt choose to go elsewhere.

I have used Dr.Lelkes for 34 years. I would not even consider anyone else for my pets. He knows his medicine and is very caring and compassionate. I drive almost an hour to bring my dogs there. I hope he never retires...I dont know what Ill do..lol

I called this place to ask about getting my dog vaccinated and I was cut off and told they dont accept new people. They stopped taking new clients years ago so it makes this veterinarian clinic useless. It should be removed from google searches.

Dr. Lelkes is a very good vet, and very reasonably priced. He does not take on new patients, but is very loyal to those that are. He is a very good communicator and explains everything thoroughly and simply. Excellent vet.
