Clean and spacious! But very very expensive. I came here as a newby because I live only 4 mins away, I should had done my research and shopped around for prices on annual shots, neutering, etc. I was extremely happy my 1st visit, our 2nd and 3rd visits, not at all happy. The Dr didnt go over prices with me like the Dr did the 1st visit. They charge for disposing waste and needles and also they charge for the Technician if they have a "Tech" do a job....I never heard of such a thing and I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, so I have experience with how much things should cost at a Vet. I was told that the prices are higher because they have so many Veterinarians to pay that work there. I also dont understand why there are 3-5 staff members working the front desk, when both times I was there, 2 of the members were just playing on their phones. Not that it bothered me, but when I left there both times with a $500 bill, it made me think. I will not be returning. But if you are someone that only has pets (no kids) or has a lot of $$$ to spare, then Pitman is your hospital for your fur babies

My dog has been in kidney failure for the last year - I have been taking her to an honorable, caring hospital for all of her life- I go away for one week, leaving my dog with a friend who takes his dogs to this place , she just needed fluids- so they exam her $, then they give her subfluids $ / they didnt even look at her they just sent her for fluids and charged a crazy amount-- it gets better she has to go one more time to make it thru the week and they ripped me off again- who ever heard of a technician fee ? Waste fee? Fluid fee yes-This place is a disgrace -I live in Pa , I pay $26 three times a week for my little dog--- if I had to go here 3 times a week I would be paying $60 each time for just fluids-/- rip off!! Nothing worse than having a sick dog and being taken . Good luck fellow pitman patients

After a horrible experience dealing with another local vet some years ago and even being turned away when our pet needed an emergency visit, we were recommended to take our business to Pitman Animal Hospital. Im so glad we did and I will NEVER take my dog or any future pets anywhere else!!!!! They care so much about your pets and about you and your family. Although our dog barks her head off at Dr. Collada he still loves her and takes great care of her! Thanks so much to a great place and great staff!!! Highly recommend this veterinary office hands down!

Probably the best vets in the South Jersey area. They are kind of pricey and I can certainly find other vets willing to do the same procedures, tests and examinations at a fraction of the cost, but the amount of concern, care and thoroughness these folks show towards you and your pet is priceless, and its hard to find anywhere else. They care about your pet as much as you do, and it shows. If you really love your pet and want to see a staff with excellent skills take care of your pet, look no further. Ill never go anywhere else.

I am so happy I came here! My vet was closed labor day weekend and this vet was open and I am so grateful. Maci got bit by another dog at the dog park Friday afternoon. Her wound started bleeding heavily the next day. Pitman Vet gave me an appt within minutes and put her on antibiotics. Now her wound is closed and healing nicely! Thanks Dr. Olsen and to your friendly staff, the experience was top notch.

Not just expensive, but what animal doctor is afraid to examine an animal? An incompetent one with no expertise in her field. She then told me that it would be easier to examine my dog by sight, and had him follow me around the office. Honestly, any sensible professional would have waived the fee for doing absolutely nothing. No doubt, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
