Meh. There are better more experienced doctors than those at Raritan Family Health Care. Pros: they can usually get you an appointment on short notice. They have an automated system which calls to remind you about your appointment. Some former doctors were good, kind, compassionate people. Cons: the current doctors are not very good. They come off thoroughly arrogant and judgmental of you as a patient. I was extremely offended by one doctors comments about the potential for my toddler daughter to grow up to be a drug addict based on his observation of my interaction with her. She was just in for a routine 2 year physical. Granted, the story is longer and this is just one side, but it was poor judgement on his part based on an incorrect assessment of her demeanor. He also likes to cut you off mid sentence assuming he can complete your thought. Even if he could, its simply rude. Hes young and cocky and was showing off in front of a female student. I would never go back to that practice again.

Avoid it. Deceptive billing practices. In my last 2 visits, each time the doctors office billed for services and lab tests that were either not performed or unnecessary. On one visit doctors office prescribed lab tests that were very expensive and was not covered by insurance. There was no need to prescribe those tests and the doctor did not even ask me. Now I have been hit with a bill from laboratory as those unnecessary tests were not covered by insurance. On another visit, doctor charged for services that were never performed. I came to know about this when my insurance company, Aetna, wanted to validate the claim with me. Avoid it. This place is run by cheats.

I had been a patient for approximately 15 years. Unfortunately, there was a lot of turnover in doctors a few years ago. Tge newer doctors were unimpressive. The office became quite disorganized. I have a significant medical history and do not want to go to an urgent care facility. On three separate occasions, when I called for a "sick appointment " first thing in the morning , I was told to call back the next day and they would try to get me in. I asked what I was supposed to do in the meantime, I was told to go to an urgent care or the emergency room. I am now using a more responsive practice

Have been with the Owner/doctor for most of his practice..Left because of the staff, not managed and rude/combative..Some of the few friendly staff agree with me..Once again no management..The new doctors did not seem knowledgeable, and my Pulmonologist agreed that the prescription given was not correct protocol for condition........ Now going to Summit medical for Family Practice, Pulmonologist, Neurology, and Same Day care service by an RN under MD supervision...

After checking on my Healthcare insure providers website and seeing that 3 of the Doctors practicing there, I booked an appointment. Upon arrival, I then get informed that AmeriHealth is not accepted....... Maybe you should get your Doctors to communicate this to AmeriHealth to save other people a wasted journey and the embarrassment!
