Dr. Zigman told me that my 7 year old son would never see in his right eye because a nerve was underdeveloped. He suggested my son should wear some kind of protection on the good eye when doing sports and hope nothing ever happens to it. I went to an amblyopia expert in New York. He looked at both eyes and told me that he knew why the other guy (I didnt tell him it was Dr. Zigman) made such a diagnosis. The nerve looked bad. However, he said that the nerve in the 20-20 eye looked the same and, as a reasonable person, he could not explain why the bad eye would not be able to see 20-20 (with glasses). After 4 months of patching and exercises my son in his bad eye is 20-25 with glasses and can read without glasses (with his good eye patched). My son has two good eyes, now, that he can live a normal life with. Maybe Dr. Zigman didnt take time to look at the other eye because mine was the last appointment (I was told by his partner to go outside to throw away a banana peel because "they already threw out the garbage basket" and didnt want to do it again). Maybe he just isnt that good a doctor. Whatever the reason was, if I trusted him my son would be left blind on one eye for the rest of his life (because this condition cannot be effectively treated later in life).

Ive been going to this office for many years. Ive brought my girls ,and now my grandchildren. The doctors are phenomenal and patient. I had a pair of glasses on one day when I went that only had one arm, Dr Zigman came over, took the glasses off my face n walked away. He came back n put a new pair on me n told me no charge.I recommend them to everyone

This office is a mess, today was my first and last time going to these doctors. The recptionists were so rude and nasty. If you hate your job you shouldnt be there. They expect you to get your contacts and glasses from them. Theyre just rude and make you feel unconfortable.

I have been seeing Dr. Zigman for years and I absolutely love him. My daughter has been going for 10 years now. Dr. Zigmam corrected my daughters ambliopic eye and now she is free of glasses. Dr. Zigmam is the best! Highly recommend him.

I have always found these doctors to be pleasant and no-nonsense. They always provide a thorough examination and they dont try to sell you what you dont need.

The front desk staff are NASTY and RUDE. Dr. is nice but i cant come here anymore because the office staff is TERRIBLE!
