I went in to Spare Pair some time ago and bought a set of frames and lenses. Staff was friendly enough and the prices were good. Placed my order. Twice I had to return them immediately after receiving because the lenses had been cut wrong. They finally got it right and on my way I went. Cut to about a year, maybe year and a half later and the paint has started wearing off of my frames. Mind you that I take good care of my glasses and have never once dropped these, nor do I expose them to corrosive chemicals or substances. Ive also had frames in the past from Lens Crafters that have lasted several years before ever showing such signs of wear. Took them back in to Spare Pair in hopes that they would work something out, but I was basically told that I was outside of my one year warranty and that I would have to re-purchase new frames. No responsibility for the fact that they sold me a clearly poor product. No gesture of a discount or offer that might entice me to stay with them. Nothing. So congratulations! You not only lost all of my future sales, but any future sales of my other family members. I will warn my friends of my experience instead of recommending your business. And I will absolutely file a former complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Hope what you made off me or saved by not helping me replace these frames was worth losing the business over.

My wife and I have been getting our glasses at this location for several years. Recently the lens came out of my wifes new glasses which were barely 3 months old. I tightened the tiny screw with a tiny screwdriver and they were fine . A few months later while in a store my wife realized the lens was gone . We immediately called Spare Pair and were told that the cost of a new single lens was more than 240.00. Hard to believe .We asked if there was anything they could do for us on the replacement of this lens considering the glasses were so new. After waiting for and speaking to the manager my wife was told ," your husband shouldnt have tightened the screw , there is nothing we can do for you except offer the lens for 220.00 instead of 240.00 . This is POOR customer relations at best .We will NEVER return to this location .

I wouldnt recommend this place. The doctor quoted me a fee for a contact lens exam at my last appointment. Now I try to schedule my contact lens exam and the office is quoting me a fee of $100.00 more. Dont quote me a price that isnt the true amount. Seems even though my exam was in March, the contact lens exam needs its own complete full exam. I didnt need contacts in March it but doesnt matter. I just wish I was fully informated at my March appointment!! There was even an issue when I went to order my glasses from them. What a shame!

Ive been going to Spare Pair for several years now and Ive always had a pretty good experience. I really like Dr Lin (hence the 3 star). This time I purchased a pair of glasses (half frames) which I paid more for due to poly carbonate lenses and mandatory polishing. The sample pair was thin and attractive - when I received my glasses, they were horrible. Thick and unattractive. I took them back and they basically told me "Tough luck". Unfortunately they just lost a good client! Im done... will find another Dr next year.

I have been going to this place for many years and was always very satisfied. This time I waited 20 minutes after my appointment time to see the doctor even though I was the only customer there at the time. When I was picking frames no one helped me. It seemed as if none of the 3 employees there wanted to work. They were busy deciding what they were going to order for lunch. I was very disappointed. It it now 3 1/2 weeks and my glasses are still not ready. I wont be going there anymore.

The glasses were definitely a little pricey, but the selection was great and the saleswoman gave me exactly the help I needed. She offered advice and suggestions but wasnt in any way pushy or trying to upsell me. The staff at the store were patient and friendly and made buying the right pair of glasses easy! If you have vision insurance and a little disposable cash, I would highly recommend this place.

Iv been going here for years and I wont go any where else. I live a half hour away now and I still make the trip to this office. If a pair of frames dont complement youre face they will tell you the truth and thats very nice because for me personally I wear my glasses every single day.
