Quite honestly I just felt this needed to be said not every day or every patient will be a good one and we all have things going on in our lives but one thing people forget to realize is to stay humble. When you have a job you have to keep yourself professional even if something may be bothering you especially when your someone in charge you want to set a good example. Im saying this because i unfortunately did not have a "wonderful" experience as many of these people had.. the wait time was incredibly long, I understand it gets busy as I myself work at an urgent care. The scheduling can use modification a day for evaluations, a day for surgeries, and a day for post op not all three in a day to make it a bit more pleasant for some especially with children or who have other things to do during the day. I experienced being skipped over for my initial day and I actually had to get up and ask why I was being skipped apparently the folders are just put against the wall and no one communicates with another to let them know whos next when I was taken in a guess they didnt like the fact I said something and then staff then has an attitude with me which of course makes it all that more uncomfortable. The lady doctor or whoever who came in was not pleasant and didnt do a great job at disguising her annoyed emotion I felt as though it was rushed and I wasnt made to feel 100% comfortable. Against my better judgment I went through with the surgery simply because although I would be left with a residual I knew this would still be life changing for someone as blind as me everything after was still again the same you can just feel the annoyance of them having to attend to me again not the entire staff. I come in today for a follow up due to my constant headaches and concern that maybe the residual prescription may be to strong, now I have never in my life experienced someone from a professional stand point actually comment on why I choose to make a review of how I personally felt of my experience (a survey they send through email) I would never stoop to someones level and argue or make a big scene and everything in me wanted to give this lady a piece of my mind (Indian doctor who does your assessments) I told her that its my opinion and thats how I felt which of course is my right. She responded rudely and made me feel so uncomfortable apparently someone cant express how they feel which I thought would be confidential anyway. Well now I want to make it public because that was uncalled for and regardless of how that may have made her feel she should have kept it to herself done her job and never confront a patient in such an unprofessional matter. I will not be going back for any follow ups because I cant allow that behavior again nor will I ever recommend anyone here, but my advice to those dont make the mistake of doing what I did if you dont have a good experience the first time go elsewhere there are many other places out there.

The only reason I am giving this place a one star is because I paid a good price for two custom laser eye surgery through Groupon. The nurses & people who work there are nice & friendly the procedure was horrible. Dr. Randa Garrana did my surgery & it was very unpleasant. She rushed to do it & made me feel super uncomfortable & nervous. I was literally yelling the whole entire time I went through the procedure. I told her can we wait a minute & shes like its better to do it & get it over with. I feel like I was forced to do it so fast & didnt know what to expect so it made me sooooo nervous & scared. As a doctor the first thing you should do is make your patients comfortable & walk them step by step as to what is going to happen. Who is not going to be scared getting a laser through your eyes. Dr. Randa is supposedly a top doctor but she does not handle the patients well, she just wants the people to be in & out. I spoke to one of the staff members & they told me she just wants to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible at 5 minutes or less. Which is pretty sad, she should be taking her time & doing it right. The staff member also told me most people yell & scream during the procedure

so...surgery went fine. Although my vision isn"t as good as it was with glasses, still acceptable. IT WAS THE CARE AFTER that falls way short!!! I suffered from complications from extreme dry eye and suffered greatly to include 5 cornea abrasions. Finally, I sought second opinions. The feeling from the other doctors was that I was not really a good candidate for Lasik due to my age (55) and my pre-op dry eye. The post-op doctor did not take my dry eye seriously and did not prescribe appropriate medications until my eyes were swollen shut and oozing!! Even with that, the dosage was not aggressive enough to be effective. I chose a local eye professional who is helping me get back on track. I feel this place is just a money machine. My advise..seek a good eye doc who will recommend a surgeon who has your best interest at heart.

This place was great! Went in with 20/70 vision and astigmatism in both eyes. This morning I went in for the day after surgery exam and I see 20/15. The procedure was fast and painless. The anxiety of someone poking at your eye was by far the worst part. The day of surgery by eyes felt a bit sleepy with that mild burn. Today I feel fine and have had none of the side effects very one was telling me about. I dont know if thats because Im 30, or that my vision wast that bad or Because they had there procedure 10 years ago. In any case the staff was wonderful and Id go back to them if I ever had to do it again! (Results may vary

My experience at LVI was very good. It was a relatively good quick experience (about 2 hours total) and the actual surgery was 5-10 minutes. You dont feel a thing during the surgery because of the numbing drops they use. The staff are very clear, efficient, and helpful. Definitely recommend for anyone whos still wearing contacts/glasses.

I would give this place a 6 star if possible. Everyone, ranging from Dr. Garrana on down to staff, made the experience enjoyable.
