There are many reasons why I have to give one star. During my consult, the doctor informed me he wouldnt be performing the surgery because he would be leaving the practice the following week. Why would I be scheduled with a doctor who wasnt performing my surgery? Poor planning. The day of the surgery, I informed my surgeon that I would need more Novocain that the average person. He said OK. He gave me the initial dose, then came back in with the nurses and said he was administering the additional dose. He did not. He began to remove the tooth and I felt a good portion of it which was extremely uncomfortable. I had told one of the nurses where my prescriptions needed to be sent. Then the doctor asked. I figured there would be some sort of communication? And even so, he called the scipts into the wrong pharmacy, and neglected to include instructions for one of the medications. When I called the office, the woman who answered the phone was extremely combative and insisted the surgeon sent the instructions with the medication and that I would need to call the pharmacy. Well, if he didnt provide the instructions, how would the pharmacy have them? She eventually got the surgeon to take my phone call and give me the instructions. This same woman answered my call when I had a concern about how the site was healing - there was still a sizable open hole and white stuff forming around the back of my tooth. SO, overall, a very unprofessional, unorganized and unfriendly practice.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I made an appointment to get my wisdom teeth pulled. Appointment was made 3 months in advance and then they called 2 days before my surgery and cancelled my appointment. They told me that no one else in their Poughkeepsie office was able to do the surgery which is ridiculous to only have 1 person. Then they told me I could drive to Connecticut to get them out. Then after I said no and that it was unacceptable they kept pushing me to reschedule. Which I declined and will be finding a new place.

The staff are very courteous; they greet and attend to clients in a timely manner. I was treated by Dr. Spencer Howard who answered all my (many many) questions before scheduling a date to have comprehensive oral surgery. He offered me sound advice and even had a discussion with my primary dentist from a different office about my treatment plan. On the day of treatment everything went well and today at my follow-up visit Dr. Howard said I am recovering nicely. Overall I would highly recommend!

Dr. Marzullo did a workup on my child for a surgical procedure. We paid for it, received the estimates and scheduled a date. Shortly after finding out that, although we would be paying him provately, out if pocket, that our child was a Medicaid patient, I received a call from his office canceling the surgery (scheduled to occur in February) because he "planned to retire in August. We are back at square one with a child who is in pain. Seems he retires frequently. I would *not* recommend him.

Dr. Marzullo is so good at what he does. He is very professional. He is very caring. He took care of my son in an emergency situation. Even called the next day to follow up. Wonderful.
