The worst doctor ever is Dr. Mazumdar. I saw her once and that was enough. I did like the Nurse Practitioner that I usually saw. But my last straw with the office comes from a phone call I received yesterday from Dr. Mazumdar. She called to tell me I need to come in for a PaP Smear because I just had a miscarriage... I told her this was the second time you guys have mixed my chart with someone elses and im not coming back to the office. She kept telling me I should still come in for a PAP. Why would I come in and you cant even get the charts right. She still didnt believe the chart was wrong, she asked my name DOB address and insurance info, I confirmed all for her. I said that isnt me, I wasnt pregnant and I didnt have a miscarriage. I went to the office today to physically view my file today and she wouldnt let me. I didnt leave until they brought it into her office. Guess what, by that time they had pulled the other persons papers out of my file. She has horrible bed side manor. She argued with me the entire time. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE DEPT OF HEALTH. Her license needs to be pulled.

I dont think I have ever had a "good" experience at Poughkeepsie medical. Even when I was young and still going to pediatrics. However, upstairs is much worse, which is unfortunate because I love all of the nurses and physician assistants. But the main Doctors I could really do without. Its taken them over two weeks to fill out all the necessary things for my college physical. I had an allergic reaction to my PPD test which I had informed them this has happened before and to look back into my files. They refused. I went to get blood work done and it took over a week for me to get the results, which were negative like I assumed they would be. The best part is as Im waiting to be called in to see Dr. Mazumdar, theyre trying to give me another physical... In which I had to explain I have already done this, I just want my damn results. Dr. Mazumdar finally gets to me and she acts like shes never met me before.... This was too much drama and zero organization for a simple school physical. I will never go there again.

I have had it with this place! I was a patient of Dr Hoffmans and nearly left this place because of his cold bed side manners and his incompetency. He actually prescribed me with insulin injections without giving me any education on how to use a needle and inject myself. Just sent me on my way. Then they hired a new nurse practitioner named Margo. She is FANTASTIC and i stayed here only because of her. However the ladies in the front office are impassive, incompetent, and forever causing more headaches that anything is worth. Every time I have been there, there is always some patient who was neglected and having to argue with the front desk.The front desk will be the death of this group! It because of them that I am never going to return to this place!

They really dont deserve a star I was extremely sick I scheduled an appointment with drSumita Mazumdar only to be given a pa who was extremely snotty didnt listen to me or help me in anyway so I made another appointment and made it clear I wanted to see mazumdar but when I arrived for the appointment I got another pa who ordered a blood test but refused to help me i made my third appointment finally saw her so she told me I had Lymes disease and its progressed to the point of suffering permanent damage oh and also I had to switch her to my primary care Dr on my insurance before they would even see me why didnt they say that before I got there please if u want to be healthy do go there

Its about time someone said something about that place. I have so many neighbors and friends that avoid PMG because the doctors are rude and they scare you into thinking you had a bad test result so you skip a day of work and pay extra money to hear that there is nothing to worry about. Its sick. Id rather go to the ER than set foot in that office.
