Dermatology of North Asheville was kind enough to "work me in" upon referral from my general physician with just a two-day notice. The gentleman who called to confirm my appointment was very professional and cordial. When I arrived I was seen almost immediately. Being quite apprehensive about a growth on my left temple, the experience could have turned out to be quite harrowing, but the young lady who took my information was so kind--she put me entirely at ease. Once Dr. Hutchin came into the room, I was even more impressed. His manner was considerate and calming. Since I have experienced facial trauma in the past, I am quite jumpy about anyone coming near my face. He completely understood, and I was so very grateful that he explained each and every step regarding my biopsy. He inspired my trust (which is difficult to do), and I will certainly recommend him highly to my family and friends. Thank you Doctor and your caring staff--you have made a difference in someones life. Much gratitude from DR.

He did a great job clearing up my skin, but when it comes time for a medicaiton refill, I have to not only get a blood test, but also see the doctor every 3 months, even if the test results are normal. This is a huge pain, after going to make appointments to get blood drawn, and then faxing the results to the dermatologist office, I also have to miss work to go there for a 2 minute look at my face. I actually HAD gone in person a month ago, but since it was for a "cosmetic" reason, that didnt count (read: he couldnt bill for a medical reason) and in order to get a refill I have to go in person. Also, I wouldnt allow my staff to write 5 star reviews (Ramin), its unethical and you could be reported to Google. Im switching dermatologists, and its a pity. A simple refill, and Im there every 6 months for facials or botox anyway. But now youve lost a frequent flyer due to this policy of being inflexible.

Excellent Dermatologist, Very personable and explains everything he does in a friendly manner. All the support staff were friendly and personable and treat you like a valued customer and not a number.The Doctor and staff took the time to work out problems with my insurance provider to ensure minimal cost to me. The most surprising thing was to have the Doctor personally call me at home with the results of a minor biopsy that was negative. Not a nurse, staff member or letter that you often would expect. I have dealt with a fair number of doctors in my day and few would prompt me to bother to praise them in this manner. He was recomended by a friend for the same reasons.

Dr. Hutchin correctly diagnosed two small melanomas on my arm. He excised them immediately and I am cancer free. Is there anything else you need to know? Obviously, he saved my life. Additionally, his consistent professionalism and that of his staff are exemplary. Have you ever experienced the feeling that your doctor is in a hurry? Barely listening? Not genuinely concerned about you as an individual? You will suffer none of those feeling with Dr. Hutchin. He is fully focused on your health and your concerns, and he spends enough time with you to be thorough and successful. Chance Shiver

I have visited Dr. Hutchins office numerous times and I have to say that there has not been one single visit where I wasnt amazed by the personable staff and their level of professionalism and efficiency. I rarely wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment time and the office is in a convenient location. Most importantly, Dr. Hutchin and his staff are extremely competent and caring. I feel like a member of the family every time I walk into this office.

Friendly staff and friendly doctor, but with multiple visits Ive gotten a sense that Im just another number to the doctor. Being talked over, mid-statement, about symptoms and reactions to medication has turned me off of being a repeat patient any more.

Very Professional!! I was seen on time, and everyone in the office was very pleasant to work with. Dr Hutchins presented a very calm, confident manner which put me at ease in an otherwise uncomfortable situation. I would definitely recommend!
