Im giving WNC Dermatological Associates two stars because they were on time. That was the last thing that went well. I requested that I be left alone in the examination room with the doctor. But, in came the aid with the doctor. She told me it was the LAW that an aid be present. The doctor said that the aid would stand in the corner facing the wall the whole time which she did. I should have walked out right then and there. First of all it must be so humiliating for the aid to have to stand in a corner while the doctor performs the examination. There is certainly no law that permits the doctor to have a chaperon. A patient has the right to have a third person present in the room for his or her benefit. Usually this is a relative or close friend. As I told the doctor this procedure is because they dont trust patients. It is only done to CYA. I will not return to these associates. I dont like being lied to.

In the past I have benefitted from good care for small skin cancer. However, they have charged me $120 because I had not been in to see them in three years!!!! I was not informed of this when I checked in for the appointment.
