The Eye Doctor was awesome and very friendly and helpful. No idea what happened but two nurses (attendants, whatever) had some sort of spat in front of me over who did what and when regarding some of the pre-testing stuff. Of the two receptionists, one was very helpful and the other was very dismissive of my insurances coverage. I had to go to my insurance website and confirm my vision coverage myself. No big deal on either part though...nurses have bad days too and receptionists make mistakes. Was still worth the visit for the doctors exam and help.

I am a patient of Dr. Helms, who recently moved his practice to Triangle Visions after Hurricane Matthew damaged his former Bladenboro office. I was a bit nervous about coming to a new location and interacting with new staff, as my family has always been very sensitive about our eyes, but I had no reason to be! Everyone was friendly and took excellent care of me, explaining each step of the process and helping me get familiar with the office. I highly recommend Triangle Visions!

The doctors are great. I have always felt taken care of once I am in front of a doctor. However, the staff not so great. You are made to feel as if you are wasting their time when checking in. And heaven forbid if an insurance question comes up and the staff have to do more than just check you in or out. Not only are you wasting their time but now they have to have a conversation with you. I dont know. more training perhaps? You cant give someone a personality.

My first appointment was a pleasure. Ive been to many optometrists in the past, some excellent, some not so excellent. This experience was excellent indeed. They did extremely thorough exams using the latest medical equipment. The "bedside" manner of both the technician and the doctor was great and left me with a feeling of total confidence that my vision was in the best possible hands.
