I called the office earlier and was told walk-ins were welcome even for contacts. I took my son out of school early to bring him for an exam before we left out of town for the holidays. Upon walking in the woman at the desk asked if we had an appointment and I told her no. She said well let me get your insurance information. I give her my info then she proceeds to tell me you know its a $99 copay. I say yes, as I mentioned earlier I called my insurance and your office and verified all of this. She then asks if he has had contacts before and I say no this is his first time at which point she says, oh well we cant see him since he doesnt have an appointment. I say why didnt anyone inform me of this when I called earlier before coming into town. Nothing. She just proceeds to tell me an appointment is required and we are all booked for today. Needless to say I am beyond frustrated and upset. She didnt offer any apology for the misunderstanding, offer to see if they could squeeze him in (mind you its 2:40pm and they are open till 9pm) or even offer to schedule a future appointment. She was extremely curt and dismissive and unfortunately her behavior will keep us from returning or referring any future business to my friends and family.

Im writing this for my girl friend. Eye doctor there has bad attitude with no professionalism to take care of his eye patient. She used my new prescription from this doctor to order a pair of new glasses with new lens. it turned out the new prescription is way off and she can see double vision with new glasses. Also, she can only see shorter distance now. She is better off with her old glasses!! When she brought up the issue to him, he shifted the responsibility back to her and also blamed it to the new glasses frame. Got no good answer from him. Optician compared the new prescription with old one to see whats wrong. and we found out he lowered my SPH(for short sighted), increased the CY(for astigmatism)... She cannot wear this new glasses for a min so she called and they said its been over 16 days and nothing they can do. is this all about money or providing professional service?? Another joking point is that they did re-issued another prescription for her but its based on her old prescription values!?!?! then why do we even need to come here to have her eye check in the first place?? I HIGHLY do not recommend this place to any of my friends and hopefully you wont have to go through such a headache with this place.

I submitted an appointment online. They had a few questions about time and date that worked best for my schedule and confirmed over the phone. Good experience on that part. When I went in for an appointment that the receptionist and I discussed above, they did pre-appointment things like glaucoma check and measuring my eyeball check. That went well. My husband had his appointment 20min after mine; another lady had her appointment 10 minutes after mine. We all did our pre-visit checks and sat down. Then they called in the lady whose appointment was after mine into the office room. I was like, "Okay, maybe they went out of order this ONE TIME." I continued to wait. About 10 minutes later, 2 more people came in and checked into their respective appts; one at 2:50 another at 3:00pm. Both of these patients were seen before I was called in. It was 3:55pm when I finally got called into see the doctor, almost an hour and a half after my appointment that I confirmed earlier in the week with the receptionist. If I make an appointment at a certain I would like to have that appointment be as close as that time.

I visited the temporary shop location and I enjoyed this location much more than the costco environment. I had to call the receptionist a few times for her help me find the office location and she was very pleasant the whole time. The office was clean and modern small office with high ceilings that felt very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant and genuine friendly with me for the whole visit. Dr Drew Provost was very polite, through, and professional. He was interested in me and made sure he explained all the tech in the room he was using on me. I liked the new device that took a picture of my retina. Never had that good an eye exam before. Oh and as bonus he set me up with sample contacts and more than my fair share of contact solution. I will be following up soon with an adjustment with my contacts.

Long time Costco members and Ive never thought that I should visit the Optometrist attached to the store. Well.... Hes great. Was completely blown away by the human touch (his staff and he are really excellent) but also impressed with the Optical Technology he uses. As a 50 year old guy that wore contacts for 27 years followed by Lasik a few years ago my history can get complex. He was able to use technology and evaluation to really sharpen my vision again, both distance and computer use. Now my whole family and several friends are patients. Plus, Costco Optical handles things quite well for my lenses at a reasonable price.

I take my teen son to get his eyes checked. Super convenient as we use the Costco optometry department to fulfill our contact and eyeglass needs. The optometrist is very nice and friendly! Its quick and we never have to wait long at all to be seen! The staff is very professional and weve never had any issues in the two years we have been going to see them. However, I will say that Im glad they are moving back to their normal Costco location as its easier to just walk a few steps to get everything taken care of in one shot, but they were moving back the day we went in! 5 Stars for convenience and general awesomeness!

All of the staff from the receptionist, the technicians and the doctor were very nice, friendly, helpful and efficient. Since it was my first visit I arrived 40 minutes early because the drive to the office took less time than anticipated and I wanted to arrive early to fill out the new patient paperwork. They were not busy so they took me in early and I was finished with the entire exam before the time of my actual appointment. Being a Costco customer I like to convenience of the office being outside Costco. I was able to take my prescription and go into Costco and get fitted for my glasses.

Rolled the dice and needed to get my eyes checked by a Dr. I figured with all the glowing reviews and the locations convenient hours it would be worth it. Dr. Drew was great, fast and friendly. His office assistants(technicians) we courteous and rolled me through the puff test and scans at lightening speed. I am more than satisfied with the service plus Dr. Drew is very personable. He took time to discuss my current eye health and options with clear care and instruction.

I really like the professional, clean office and that it is attached to Costco. They do not accept the vision care discount that I can use at WalMart, but I feel like their exam has a little more in depth accuracy. I was really impressed with the new technology with their retina scanner device. I asked for an emailed image of my retina and they were happy to send me a copy via email!! The new technology was $5 more expensive and did not require any dilation!!
