I called with an emergency when my dog was having serious separation anxiety. I needed to know what I can do to calm my dog down. I left numerous messages for Dr. Fisher with Emily at the front desk, and never got a call back from the Doctor. Emily was extremly rude when I would call and I am not sure if the lack of response from the Vet was her fault or his own. So upset with the lack of response, I cancelled the appointment that I made, and I had to go to another Vet to get some help. Upon letting Dr. Fisher know that I was leaving his practice I requested copies of both of my dogs medical records and he refused to release them to me. Citing that I owed money for a missed appointment that I cancelled with Erin. I explained why I was leaving the practice and Dr. Fisher, a once very personable man got very rude with me and told me that he would not send any records to me unless I paid (for an appointment that his front desk didnt cancell for me). He later left me a voicemail telling me to never call his office again, and that I would not be getting my dogs records. By far the most horrible experience when dealing with a "professional" after so many years of being a loyal customer. I was appalled with the way he was speaking to me, stunned that this Vet would rather loose a customer with two dogs than to give some good customer service.

Called to ask about Dog ear cropping and the lady who answered the phone was rude and gave to most unprofessional service I have ever seen. The sad thing about this is that I am a dog breeder and was looking for a vet that would offer all the services that I needed and care for my entire kennel of dogs, but before dealing with rude and unprofessional people I will travel and have my services taken care of. I can not speak to how good the vet are here because I never got to one because if I am going to spend my money it will be with someone who I feel will love my dog as a member of their own family. I would never let anyone disrespect me and then care for my dogs. I spend alot of money to care for my dogs and all I ask for is respect in return!!!

I have been going to Dr. Fisher for over a decade. When he sees your pet, he has a natural way of making you feel like your pet is his most favorite. His clinic may be small, and is not in a high tech brand new building, but that is part of its charm. He is kind of like that home town vet with an office full of memories. the only downside I could possibly see would be for people with an extreme allergy to cats since he has resident cats. I see him for my rats, whom he loves, and my sister boarded her two dogs with him while she was moving back into town.

Best vet in the USA by far! I grew up taking care of horses in Ireland and was used to the "family farm Vet" who built a relationship with you and your animals as opposed to the business orientated Vet that is so prevalent nowadays. Dr. Fisher puts animals and people first, closest thing Ive come to the "family farm vet". I would highly recommend Dr. Fisher for all your pets and animals needs. Add to that his superb staff and you just wont get a better service, its a win win for you and the animals. Completely satisfied.

We love Dr. Fisher. He is awesome and a great with our dog Otis. We specifically researched a vet that had a lot of experience with English Bulldogs and we discovered Dr. Fisher. Great quality care and highly recommended. Otis ended up having "Cherry Eye" when my parents were dogsitting for us and they had to call Dr. Fisher for assistance. They were so impressed by his responsiveness and attention to their problem and he called them back after hours on a Saturday to talk them through everything they needed to do.

i love dr. fisher and his entire staff. my pets have been patients of dr. fisher for nearly 10 years. they get excellent care and dr. fisher is awesome. he loves what he does and it shows. i lost one of my dogs to old age last year and joel was incredible with me and my friend and pet. he understands that they are animals but at the same time they are pets, part of our lives. there should be more people and vets like joel and his entire staff. i respect them greatly and recommend them to all.

I would not take my pets to any other vet other than Dr. Fisher. We have going to him for 9 years based upon a recommendation of someone else. He always shoots it straight and he and his staff will give the best possible care. I have never felt like he was trying to push unnecessary treatments on my animals as I have at other places. What made it even better was when he opened the kennel, I have no worries when I go out of town. I cannot make a stronger recommendation for Dr. Fisher.

Not sure which Vet the negative reviewer went to. We have been taking our dog and cat to Dr. Fisher for 5 years now for both boarding and regular check ups etc. The staff have always been super friendly and wonderful. Dr. Fisher has always gone out of his way to talk to us and help us with any concerns. I would never take my animals anywhere else!!

By far the best Veterinary experience Ive had in the Raleigh area. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Dont let the few bad reviews fool you this place is great. Doesnt try and force unnecessary treatments on you, you can tell everyone truly cares about your pets wellbeing. I will be taking my dogs there as long as I live in the area.

Ive had a lot of experience and worked with a number of vets over the years and have never worked with any vet more capable or caring than Joel Fisher. I wish I would have found him years sooner!

We were referred by a nieghbor to fisher Vet Hospital, and recently we left the pups with the folks there. They were wonderful with our dogs and were great with my difficult spouse.. If you are looking for a great Vet practice that you can trust your pets with, then you should try Fisher. Very Satisfied

I moved here from Florida and had a bad experience with another vet in the area. Friends recommended Dr. Fisher and I am so delighted I found him. He was so caring and I really appreciated his rates and the fact that he doesnt suggest unnecessary tests or treatments as many others do. Thanks, Dr. Fisher!

Ive been to many vets over the years but for the last 18 Ive been going to Dr. Fisher and he is by far my favorite veterinarian. Every time I see him its like seeing an old friend and he always has a magic touch with even my dogs and cats. I wouldnt even think of going anywhere else.
