Dr. Iqbal has almost done 2 root canals for myself in the past 2 years. The first one was an emergency after a replaced loose crown got infected. Dr. Iqbal was amazing in all aspects from his chairside manner, the procedure itself, and also fitting me into his schedule to help diminish the pain and sever swelling I was experiencing. He by far was the MOST gentle endodonist that I have ever seen (and Ive seen approximately 6 different ones total in my life). The second visit ended up being cut short due to my tooth being cracked. Dr. Iqbal was very apologetic for the situation, the cracked tooth was in no way from his doing. I had a few glitches with the making of the appointment, but Dr. Iqbal was quick to resolve and the process has been modified so it doesnt happen again. I can promise you that no other Endodontist would go that far out of their way to correct issues - at least none that I have met yet. What most impressed me most is that they file your insurance, unlike every other Endodonist that I have seen who require you to pay in full up front and then the patient is refunded once the insurance company pays. One other huge plus, there is absolutely no arrogance from him. I dont think there is a kinder person. However, note that every dentist is nice or good when discussing recommendations, never has he questioned what/how another dentist did. Certainly a smart business move on his part. Note if you are hyperthyroid, do not allow the administration of epinephrine. My symptoms have progressed after having several doses during my procedure.

I found out I needed a root canal from my dentist on tooth #30 and she referred me to Dr. Iqbals office. After an eval by Dr. Iqbal and his staff they determined that the primary issue was with #31, but #30 showed internal resorption on the x-rays and would also need a root canal in the near future. I asked if we could do both at once (Id rather get it over with) and he said that would be possible if everything worked out with #31. The day of the procedure I was very nervous. Dr Iqbal was great! He is extremely smooth giving shots, they were as pain free as I could imagine. The entire procedure for two root canals was about 80 minutes including the time it took for me to get numb. It was far better than what I have heard from friends that have had similar procedures. He is fast, caring, very intelligent (and without an ego to get in the way), explained everything along the way, answered all my questions, and most importantly incredibly skilled at what he does. I hope I never have another dental issue in life, but if I ever need another root canal I wont be worried about it!

I went into the office last week for a consultation, and I am so impressed by how friendly the entire staff is. I had my root canal done today, and it was not an unpleasant experience despite what many people may say about having a root canal. I was comfortable the entire time, and he was able to get the job done quickly and effectively. Also, Dr. Iqbal is so humble and personable and very intelligent and professional at the same time. Hopefully, I will not need another root canal, but if I do, I will be going back to this doctor NO DOUBT! With that being said, I would definitely recommend Dr. Iqbal to anyone who is in need of a root canal. I am amazed at how such an unfortunate yet necessary experience/procedure could be pleasant in any way, but these are honest words, and I can guarantee you would not be disappointed if you made the choice to see Dr. Iqbal.

I worked for an endodontist for l8 years. I have had two previous root canals and have never received the care and service that I have received from Dr. Haris Iqbal, and his staff. People, I didnt even feel the injections to get me numb, and I was infected. Plus I did not feel a thing during the procedure. I was asked during the time I was getting numb if I needed a blanket, and a bottle of water. I was told if I needed suction to just raise my left hand... This has been the most pleasant experience at an endodontic office that I have encountered. I cannot express my praise for Dr. Iqbal, and his staff enough, they are FANTASTIC! If you are in need of a root canal and are referred elsewhere, check out North Carolina Endodontics, with Dr. Iqbal, and his staff, I guarantee you will be happy you did!!!!

Dr. Iqbal and his entire team were simply amazing. They took what was initially a frightening experience and turned it into one of the most pleasant dental experiences Ive ever had. The dental assistant took the time to explain to me what was being done, why and what I should expect to feel. Dr. Iqbal was extremely calm and reassuring in his approach which made it 100% easier for me to trust him. Ive heard nothing but horror stories as it relates to root canals; however, my experience with Dr. Iqbal and his team was far from a horror story. I could honestly, write a book about how great he and his team were. I pray I never need another root canal, but if I do, Im definitely going back to Dr. Iqbal.

Unfortunately this was not my first root canal in my lifetime so I was very pleased by Dr. Iqbal and his wonderful staff with how "painless" they made my experience. Everyone I encountered was very kind and made me feel at ease. Wait times were short and appointments were easily available. The best part of my experience was when I had a concern on a Sunday afternoon and left a voice mail and recieved a personal call from Dr. Iqbal to discuss my concerns. They were able to get me in the next day to attend to my needs. The staff always calls to check on me after any visits and I truly appreciate that customer service!! I highly recommend Carolina Endodontics to anyone needing a root canal!

Unfortunately, I have had a lot of dental work and more than one root canal. My past experiences were painful, uncomfortable, stressful, and seemed to take forever. Frankly, I have left some of those experiences feeling a bit battered and bruised. This experience with Dr. Iqbal and his entire team was radically different. From start to finish it was not stressful at all. And, NO PAIN. I cannot tell you how surprised I was when he said he was finished. That was it? Yes, seriously, that was it. Ive had cleanings that were worse. Everyone there is gentle and kind and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Iqbal and his team.

I recently had to have a root canal. I was in a lot of pain. I was very nervous about the procedure. At North Carolina endodontics they took great care of me. Everybody there could not of been any nicer. They treated me with respect and cared about how I felt. They made sure I was relaxed and told what to expect every step of the way. Dr. Haris Iqbal was fantastic. He was very thorough and made sure I was very comfortable before he got started. He worked with great precision and speed and got me out of there faster than I couldve thought. I would highly recommend them to any of my family or friends who need a endodontic treatment!
