BREAKING NEWS! North Raleigh Dental Practice Actually Treats Patients Like Family! I have no idea how you got to this review page. Maybe you’re unsatisfied with your current dentist. Maybe you are new to Raleigh and need a dentist ASAP. Maybe you ended up here by pure dumb luck. However you arrived here, you landed on a review of what I believe to be two of the finest dentists in North Carolina. Here’s why: About 5 years ago I was suffering from acute tooth pain that was so intense that I couldn’t sleep, eat, or do much of anything. I tried calling my current dentist, who did have an emergency phone number, but he never answered. Oh well! So I went to the ER and was prescribed pain medicine that did absolutely nothing. I finally discovered Drs. Adams and Cheek’s office and was extremely fortunate they were open on a Saturday. I had never seen or heard of them before so it was through absolute luck that I found them. From the minute I walked in the door, I was greeted with kindness and treated with compassion. Dr. Adams followed up with me by phone after I left, gave me his cell number and said to call if I had any more pain. The following day I did call because the pain returned, as expected. So, on a Sunday night at 9pm Dr. Adams met me at his office to give me another long acting nerve block so I could sleep that night. The next morning, I was first in the office door for a root canal and crown which cured my pain. Since that time, I have recruited my wife to start seeing them and we have both undergone additional procedures performed by both Dr. Adams and Dr. Cheek. They are talented dentists who are focused on patient education, prevention, comfort and satisfaction. Behind every great dentist is a great team. It is evident from the minute you walk in the door that these are good people. From the time you make your appointment until the minute you leave, everything has been thought out and planned with great detail. They are organized and streamlined to make your visit as comfortable as possible. So if you are like me and appreciate excellent care, a kind staff, new equipment, all in a state of the art building, then I would recommend you pay a visit to their office. I know the team will treat you as they always treat me. You will not be disappointed!

I dont even know where to start - I was so overwhelmed by how kind, professional and absolutely painless my experience was with Dr. Adams and Donna D. (hygenist) and Donna G. (dental assistant). Let me say, if you are like me - someone who has experienced a great deal of pain in the dental chair and is scared to death of letting anyone anywhere near your teeth - Dr. Adams is the man you want to see. The whole team consistently explained what they were doing and why and made recommendations for treatment without pressuring me in any way. Dr. Adams took extra time with me to answer all my questions and address all my concerns - not a few! At every step, from cleaning to de-scaling to taking out my fillings and giving me a crown, Dr. Adams et al were so careful to be sure I was relaxed and comfortable. I was shocked that I felt NO pain whatsoever - not even discomfort - (except of course a little soreness in my jaw the next day from keeping my mouth open for the procedure) when they drilled out two fillings, replaced one and gave me a crown. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the dental work and the caliber of the staff at this truly unique practice. After decades of terror, this practice has me actually happy to get my teeth cleaned!

Adams and Cheek Dentistry is a professional, courteous, informative, and competitively priced practice. The waiting area has an ambiance of being in a family living room; inviting seating, WIFI, work stations, a tropical fish tank, stone fireplace and childrens play area. All comforting while awaiting dreaded dental appointments. The charm and comfort extended to the "state of the art" dental stations as well. My husband has been coming here for a number of years, but it is a new practice for me. My dentist of 30 years is 6 hours away and I needed some immediate dental work done, The staff accommodated me into an appointment that coincided with my husbands visit scheduled for the following day. I loathe dentistry work and was nervous about acclimating to a new environment and staff. My fears were unfounded and I left the office after a painless root canal by Dr. Adams, exemplary patient care and an overall relaxing and friendly experience. Im changing dentists after 30 years, even though this office is still a 1.5 hour drive for me. Location is close and easy to find off of Capital Boulevard. If you are looking for a dentistry practice, I highly recommend Adams and Cheek.

If I could give this place a 20 stars I would. Dr Adams, his assistant Donna and the front desk staff are simply AMAZING. Everything about the practice is what sets them apart from any other dentist office Ive ever been to! I went in for tooth pain and soon realized that I need a root canal. As nervous as I was to get it done Dr Adams and Donna both walked me through the process and addressed all my concerns along the way. Not once did they make me feel rushed, ashamed or embarrassed to be there. They were simply phenomenal. When I left I was in terrible pain and While in my way to work the next day D. Adams had his assistants Lena to reach out to me to see how I was doing. Out of 5 different dental offices Ive ever been too, not once did the Dr call to see how I was doing the next day. This was one of the reasons I will never go to any other dental office! Ever! They have gained another loyal patient and even the 5000 character limit that Im allowed would be enough to really say everything I love about this place!!!!!!

Once more, Dr. Craig Adams came through for me by providing immediate, caring, professional service for me when I had broken a tooth. And the stellar service isnt just with Dr. Adams. The leadership of Dr A and Dr Cheek is reflected in the performance and attitude of the entire staff. Sadly I am relocating from Raleigh and will no longer be able to avail myself of the beyond excellent dental care I have received from Dr. Craig Adams. My association with his practice began in 1991. Time and time again Dr. Adams went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate my dental issues. And the excellence is not just at the top. Dr. Adams has an amazing team. Special thanks as well to Tamara who has kept my teeth clean for a number of years. As an added bonus, this practice has always filed my dental insurance claims for me. Thanks to all of you - I am going to miss this connection.

Ive been going here since I was 5 years old! (18 years). Ive never hated going to the Dentist because of Dr. Adams and Cheek. I used to see Dr. Adams til a few years ago and was nervous about seeing Dr. Cheek because he was new but hes awesome! Everyone is so friendly and helpful with anything you need. Im moving to Texas in November 2015 and I dont know what Im going to do without my wonderful Dentistry team!! I may just fly back every six months for a cleaning... Im absolutely serious. I would give them 100 stars if it let me! P.S I just finished reading the negative reviews because honestly, I do NOT understand what they are talking about. EVERYONE is so sweet, gentle and caring. They DO provide the best service and establish great relationships with all of their clients. The office is warm, beautiful and has a comfortable ambience that seriously makes you feel at home.
