First of all, the only reason this was ONE star is because i couldnt rate it a negative FIVE. This place is absolutely crazy! My dog had a rash and it took them THREE office visits to get it right and THEN I gave them another chance with my dogs ear infection and that was a MONTH ago and he STILL has his ear infection! I called n spoke with some lady named Kim who sounded like she just got off the crack pipe who told me that the doctor needed to change his medicine and to bring him back in...when I called to make the appointment I asked to be considered for warranty because I was JUST in there for the same thing but Elizabeth said I would have to pay because of the doctors stupidity. They should have known this the FIRST time and they are scamming people out of money by being morons and misdiagnosing something as simple as an ear infection or a rash from soap! And get this! When I told her I may have to start looking for another vet she copped a HUGE attitude and said "we can fax your dogs paperwork anywhere you want us to". She called me back after I politely asked her to talk to the doctor to see what he said and she called back n told me that my dogs chart was ready to go and on the desk waiting for me to pick it up. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect in my life and I cant believe they keep their business open treating people this way. The vet tech when the dog was in the back exam room even TACKLED my dog like a linebacker just to look in his ear...WITH A MUZZLE ON!! I will NEVER ever bring my dog anywhere near this vet again! I suggest you dont either. HORRID SERVICE!??

We have two dogs and one is a brand new 8 week old puppy with a few health issues. Dr Anderson at Highsmith Animal Hospital simply put is THE BEST VET I have met. She is amazing with animals and she keeps them calm and happy when they are scared and stressed. When you meet her and are in the exam room, its extremely obvious that she LOVES your fur baby and any other animal that comes through. She will NOT rush you out of the room like some other vets will do. She will take her time and answer any question you have and make sure you understand what she has done and will do and how your pups are doing. Its so nice to meet an animal healthcare professional that loves their job and the work they do rather than being in it because it pays well. The staff there are also very friendly and extremely helpful. I hope anyone who loves their pets reads this review and take their dogs or cats to this place.

Just want to say how much we appreciate Dr Meghan Tayloe and the wonderful care she provides for our 3 critters. She has been a godsend helping us to understand and control a chronic condition in one of our beloved cats. She is always willing to see him on an emergent basis when his condition becomes hard to manage and always takes the time to help us figure out the best as well as most cost effective way to deal with his issues. Dr Tayloe was recommended to us by our previous vet when we moved here two years ago and she is wonderful. Also the staff at Highsmith is fantastic. We highly recommend the practice!

Our kitty decided to break camp and spend a night on the town. Keep in mind she is strictly an indoor cat. Found her the next morning with a limp and puncture wounds in her foot. Highsmith accepted us with no hesitation as a first time client. Did their due diligence in taking awesome care of our wayward Feline. Fortunately, it was not as bad as we thought. So blessed to have Highsmith within less than a mile from my home. The carrier we had wasnt that sturdy however they loaned us one. Highsmith will indeed be our chosen Vet.

Ive had a great experience so far, the front desk was quick to check us in and get us in to see Dr. Highsmith. Dr. Highsmith is very knowledgeable and thoroughly checked out my pup, making sure to answer any of our questions and explaining things in great detail. I highly recommend Highsmith Animal Hospital. Even after my appointment, I called for a refill on a prescription and was promptly assisted and even called back to let me know that my prescription was ready early.
