I couldnt be more impressed with my experiences and services received with Dr. George. I go to her purely for aesthetics; I am impressed with the innovative procedures she offers and with the thought and research she has put into the skin care lines she carries. The TNS Recovery Serum has had the most positive impact on my skin compared to anything I have used in the past. I typically dont like to admit that I get the occasional Botox treatment, but I do it sparingly...and she can strategically place the Botox better than anyone I have ever been to, she also uses just the amount needed to keep you looking natural, which helps to keep the costs down. Bravo! I have recently undergone a Fraxel Laser procedure with her...I was a little nervous about the pain and there was some but they made you as comfortable as possible using the numbing creme ahead of time; Dr. George keeps you calm and is finished in no time. I am already seeing an impact on my skin and look forward to the results over the next few weeks and months. She is certainly making my transition into my forties less traumatic! It adds to my comfort that I am totally aligned with her personal philosophy of not over doing it so one can remain natural looking, but allowing your best "you" to shine through. She most certainly has a less is more attitude, which is refreshing to find. Thank goodness Wilmington has such a gem of a Dermatologist that is on the cutting edge of anti-aging techniques and products but also truly wants the best outcomes for each of her patients.

This was the first time my husband and I have visited WDC. We were both disappointed with our very short visits and feel that we were not looked over properly. I highly doubt the quick 1 second "peek" at my breasts and into my underwear would allow the PA to actually see anything abnormal. Also, according to my patient portal the PA "Reviewed sun protection and monthly skin self examination and ABCDEs of melanoma" and this definitely did not happen. The PA never mentioned skin protection once or how to look over to find any unusual spots. She never even mentioned that I should be wearing sunscreen (which I obviously know I should be, but Im used to dermatologists giving a lecture on the importance of it). Also, there was a video advertisement on loop in my room for "cool sculpting" that showed healthy looking women being disappointed in their bodies and getting them "fixed"...it was very sad to see them adverting it, especially when the woman looked to already be under 130lbs like myself...that kind of stuff can cause some loss of self esteem!! The PA we both had was very nice, but gave did not look us over well, and did not discuss skin care. This check up was important for us both since we have both had issues with precancerous spots needing to be removed, and were hoping to have a professional take a few minutes to really look us over. This was definitely not worth the $150 we had to pay in Co-pays!

I had a great experience at WDC having the miradry treatment. Shelly made me feel very comfortable. The treatment was quick and relatively pain free. Already Im not sweating under my underams. I have been having issues with excessive sweating in the underarm area for as long as I can remember. I have tossed out countless shirts and other clothing due to stains, etc. I would highly recommend this procedure to any who has hyperhydrosis of the underarms. thank julie

Wonderful place! Wonderful doctors/PAs! This was my first visit and I will certainly make this my go to dermatologist. I would recommend this to anyone looking for treatment related to cystic acne/scars. I probably sat in the waiting room for 5 minutes and waited on the PA to come in my room for only 3 minutes. I was in and out of the center within 30 minutes. The doctors were very knowledgeable and provided me with quality care. Need a dermatologist...? Go here!

Ive had some laser hair removal treatments done by Shelly and she has done a 5-star job. I definitely recommend for cosmetic work. However, in order to see Dr. George for a medical issue I would have to wait 10 months for an appointment. That is absurd! If a scary mole was actually a melanoma I could be dead by then. Im finding a new doctor for medical and will still see Shelly for maintenance. A 5 star for cosmetic and a 1 star for medical averages to a 3 star.

I have been seeing Dr. George and her staff for 9 years! The office is professional, responsive and beautiful! I have never waited for more than 5 minutes in either the waiting or exam room. Dr. George is THE BEST dermatologist I have ever seen. She explains what is needed in detail and offers every possible option prior to making a treatment decision. Thank you Dr. George!

Impressive office, but too quick a consultation and prescription of antibiotics. May be good for cosmetic procedures. Not good for medical problems. At least not for me: I was prescribed a vaginal gel for my face which made it worse. Too bad I cannot get my money back!
