Having been a past client, I made an appointment. to see Dr. Hogan about some growths/possible skin cancer that I am very concerned about. I was asked on the phone if I still had Tricare, which I do, and that was it. When I came to my appointment 10 minutes early, I was told that I didnt have a financial statement in my file. I was presented with a sheet of paper that I was asked to fill in with a credit card number, expiration date and signature. When I told the receptionist that I didnt own a credit card, she went and had the business manager greet me and asked me if I could leave them a blank check for any co-insurance that may come up. I refused and they refused to see me. The office refused to treat me and honor my appointment because I did not own a credit card and wouldnt leave them a blank check. They are in-network providers and have accepted the insurance payment contractually. I should not have to leave them a credit card or blank check because they choose not to have a billing department. Obviously, they have some sort of billing department as they must communicate with the insurance companies. They claim to be eco-friendly on their website but its all a sham - they only care about getting a hold of money. With all the identity theft these days, Im amazed that they would even ask. Dr. Hogans office let me down when I needed them the most. Dont let this happen to you. Go to someone else.

I have been going to Dr. Moe for approximately 4 months. She and the staff at Frederick Dermatology Associates are professional and friendly. The atmosphere is very inviting, and the facilities are clean and fresh which is important to me. I feel that my satisfaction is a priority to her and the staff. It is difficult to find good service in any industry, but I am impressed with their efforts to make me feel like a priority. Dr. Moe makes every effort to ensure I am happy with the laser treatments I have received, even going, what I would consider, out of her way/above and beyond. Because of this level of commitment, I plan to return to Dr. Moe for further laser treatments as needed. Treatment for my specific condition is not always 100% effective because the condition is rather persistent but she has done a good job at finding the best treatment for me and I truly appreciate it. I was beginning to feel rather self conscious about my condition, especially as it has gotten worse in the last few years. She and the staff have helped me feel better about complexion by providing me with great advice to help lessen the appearance of the condition. Thank you to Dr. Moe and her team at Frederick Dermatology Associates!!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Moes for over 2 years now and have been treated for both medical and cosmetic issues. She treats each of my concerns with competence, dignity, respect, kindness and empathy. She doesnt push anything yet makes me aware of what is available and then leaves it at that. She continues to be mindful of my budget while still providing great results. There is usually some type of coupon, manufacturer discount or special that I can take advantage of. I also see Trish whose biggest asset besides her competence is her listening skills. She hears you and responds appropriately. She really is a wealth of knowledge and has never steered me wrong. There have been a few issues with office staff but it is with the newer ones - learning curves and all - but there are many that are helpful, knowledgeable and provide good customer service. It is really quite simple... when incompetence or inconsistencies happen, they should be addressed with a doctor or office manager so that they are aware and can be given a chance to improve the situation. All-in-all, I am a fan of this practice and highly recommend it.

I began seeing Dr. Moe several months ago after a disappointing experience with another dermatology practice in the area. After spending a fair amount of money on appointments and treatments recommended by my former dermatologist, I had seen no improvement, and was very pessimistic about the possibility of success. My mother had just begun seeing Dr. Moe, and urged me to pursue securing an appointment with her to obtain a second opinion. From the start, it was obvious that Dr. Moe was extremely motivated and dedicated to diagnosing my skin concerns, and recommending the appropriate treatment. She carefully considered all of the anecdotal information I provided, always patiently listening to the details I offered, and carefully examined my skin. With her help, I have seen vast improvement in my condition, and am so pleased with her care, expertise, and demeanor. This is a woman who is truly talented, kind, and devoted to delivering the results for which her patients are eager!

The consistent professionalism and positive attitudes of staff , physicians, PAs and NPs , from check in to follow up with a live phone conversation, every visit to Frederick a Dermatology Associates is an amazing experience. I truly appreciate that Frederick Dermatology Associates recognizes the importance of proactive General Dermatology for full body checks, sun protection, and treating the issues of my sensitive skin. Additionally, they afford the opportunity to experience the most up-to-date aesthetic cosmetic procedures in their beautiful Center for Aesthetic Medicine. From the check in area and Manager, to the Estheticians , Medical Assistants , and the physicians, I always feel as if my time and questions and concerns are treated with care, concern and respect. I am never disappointed when I go to Frederick Dermatology Associates. From start to finish, every time I have been there, the experience has been pleasant, professional and helpful. All of the staff members are very warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. I normally see a nurse practitioner named Nicole, and she immediately answers all of my questions, does a thorough examination, and always outlines an action plan with great results! On my last visit, I was given a tour of the newly opened Center for Aesthetic Medicine side of the practice by the manager, Eileen. I was so impressed by the services, the facility, and most importantly by the people who work there. Frederick Dermatology Associates will always be my source for healthy skin care and I will continue to recommend this practice to friends and family.

A better practice I just dont think you could find. Dr. Moe and Dr. Hogan are both wonderful people. All of my appointments have been with Dr. Moe, but Dr. Hogan always has a smile for everyone too. Dr. Moe has a way of making you feel very comfortable and is conservative in her approach. She will let you know if there is a, "tool in her toolbox" that will achieve the result you want without breaking the bank. I have lived in many states and have seen many Dermatologists and she is one of the best. I have been her patient for a year now and wish I could take her and her associates with me when I move next year. Make an appt with Dr. Moe and you will see exactly what I mean. From the time you walk in and are greeted by her staff...youll know you made the right choice.
