The wife and I run a local dog rescue and were always on the look out for a good vet to fill the needs of our various size and breed of dogs. I finally feel like the search for the perfect vet is over. Whether you have a 10lb chick dog or an 80lb pit bull, not only can they handle that animal, my dogs get excited when we pull in to the vets parking lot. FYI, Im the picky one and this review comes from me not the wife. Dr wood, Hilary or Kelly will beat your expectations every time.

Dr. Wood and her staff gave our dog (and us) exceptional care when we had an emergency very early on a Monday morning. The staff fit us in right away and never made us feel like we were an inconvenience! Dr. Wood treated our family dog and was able to help her recover, even when the outcome looked grim. She did all of the appropriate testing and checked on her daily to ensure she was recovering. We are thankful to have such a wonderful veterinarian and staff in our community.

Dr. Wood is the best veteranarian weve ever had. My dog Chewie has lots of health issues, but is the sweetest little man. Dr. Wood takes the time to listen to all of your concerns and is open to trying anything to help your pet. She listened to me about Chewies issues when another vet wouldnt. I would never take my dogs to anybody else. She has helped us through so much and I am so thankful that she is our vet for our sweet pups.

Ive been bringing Diesel to Dr. Wood pretty much since she opened. Dr. Wood is very down to earth and respects the clients fears and is very communicative. She takes the time to talk to you and explain whats going on. Shes very patient with questions! Her staff is great and they have a true respect for my fur baby.

Came here when my vet was not available. We are going to switch! Dr Wood was fabulous with our cocker spaniel and her prices are very reasonable. The office staff is fabulous and they were able to get us in the same day. So excited theyve come to Amelia!

I love the people at Main Street Animal Hospital. They treat my Yorkies with the same love and affection that I give them. If you live in the area, I very highly recommend you to bring your pets to see Dr Wood.
