We have Lesser Hedgehog Tenrecs, no relation to Hedgehogs. It is hard to find a doctor with the knowledge to care for them, as they are exotic and rare. We took one of our Tenrecs, Merlin, here. Merlin was sickly since birth. The doctor was finally able to figure out the cause and diagnose him with pneumonia as well. Sadly he did pass from pneumonia, but the doctor and nurses did all they could to help. They were very friendly and constantly calling me with updates. They were helpful with the cremation and even took his paw prints in ceramic for us. We are very thankful to have found them and continue to use them for our other Tenrecs, Cosimo and Bear. Highly recommend, especially for exotics.
