By far the best animal hospital I have ever experienced. My dog has been a bit of a trouble maker and we were visiting about once a month for over a year with different concerns. Not only are Dr. Gallardo and Tara professional, they really care about your pet. When my dog ate a foreign object they were able to get me in first thing in the morning, preform emergency surgery almost immediately to prevent any more damage, and kept me updated on him the whole time. Not only were they wonderful with my dog they were also wonderful with me. They understood the cost and offered payment options and reassured me he would be okay. When I was feeling awful about everything my dog had been through and as though it was all my fault they were there to reassure me that accidents happen and that I was doing the right thing. With all that my dog had been through, having such a caring place to take him made it drastically easier. Oh, I forgot to mention that Dr Gallardo responded to me in the middle of the night when I was scared about my dogs incision. I dont know any doctor (human or anamil) that does that. I could go on and on about all the wonderful things about Gallardo Family Animal Hospital. Thank you guys so much! I couldnt do it without you!

Best vet in the Greater Cincinnati Area. I have 8 dogs of my own, plus I foster. The staff treats all of our dogs like their own. They check up on our dogs to see how they are doing after a Vet visit or procedure. The staff is very knowledgeable, and truly puts the dog and customer first. Unlike a lot of vets, they will not do a test or procedure if they do not think that it is absolutely necessary. They try to find an affordable way for the owner, but still keep the dogs needs as a top priority without nickle and diming the customer. After hours, you can text Dr. Gallardo about anything, and he is always prompt to respond. You can truly see their passion for animals, and helping people on a daily basis. After going here one time for our fosters, we decided to switch all of our dogs to this Vet. and I would never consider taking my dogs to any other vet.

Very knowledgeable, proficient and professional: I trust Dr. Gallardo with my exotics more than any vet in the tristate area. Not only is he professional, he is empathetic which many vets are lacking. Dr. Gallardo was the first vet to look into my sugar gliders mouth and note that his teeth were too short, and asked a series of questions on behaviors that my glider was doing. He also warned me that we should keep an eye out for dental abscesses; because of this warning, Im able to treat Tater the second he starts to show the slightest signs of it and nip it in the bud before it grows out of hand and becomes a huge health issue. 10/10 would recommend for sugar gliders, cats, dogs, and just about anything you have in your house.

Dr. Gallardo has saved my bulldogs life. He has been there for her when she does dumb stuff, like eats a foam rug. He has suggested the best course of action every time; sometimes its the cheapest, sometimes its not. But hes never steered us wrong in our journey to have a happy, healthy bulldog. The staff is always super helpful and courteous too! I would drive as far as I needed to make sure my pup gets the best care, and Dr. G is, in my opinion, the absolute best.

Incredible vet. He not only has the knowledge and thoroughness needed to care for the animals, he has the personality and compassion needed to put you at ease. He will be the only one to care for my tortoises in the future. As I understand, exotics are not the primary animals seen at the clinic, but if you have an exotic animal that needs care, you will not receive better care anywhere around here.

Dr. Gallardo is fantastic. Took family cat there when she was injured. Promptly took care of our cat was genuinely concerned about her well being. Helped by keeping her happy and purring even while in pain with staff members looking after her and petting her. Please check this great place out you will not be disappointed.

My visit was for unfortunate reasons. I have never had an animal seen at this place before. they took her and because it was an emergency euthanasia case. I couldnt stand to see my little girl suffer anymore. Dr G was very consoling and kind if I need a vet I will be back.

Brought my dumerils boa in for a check up. Very personable staff and Dr. Gallardo was quite knowledgeable on herps. Ive had poor experiences with other vets being unsure about my reptiles, glad to find a reliable exotic vet in the area. Will be back.
