I will NEVER be returning here. A female nurse name Chris (not sure if thats how you spell it but she was Caucasian had long curly brown with blonde streaks and a nose right. Probably about in her late 30s or early 40s) she was so rude and disgusting I just let her remove the needle from my arm and I refused her care. I came in because Im having really bad stomach pain and throwing up and diarrhea. Im not a person who likes to go to the ER but I feel so weak my husband had to help me get dressed. When she 1st entered the room I had a ginger ale and she told me I couldnt drink it. Which I understood why but then she went on to say "I mean youre having abdominal pain its pretty obvious you shouldnt be eating or drinking" with a slight eye roll and I ignored that comment. Then she asked me how many times have I threw up and had diarrhea and I told her and she got silent and looked off into space sarcastically and asked "Well did you take anything at home?" When I told her no she kinda stormed out of the room and I heard her say "Wow" to another nurse like she was irritated. Then the nurse Practitioner came in after reviewing my urine sample and told me that I needed some IV fluids and blood work done. I said ok. Then Chris comes back and proceeds to stick me in my arm which I told her not to do because I have rolling veins and no one can ever get them in my arm and that they usually use my hand. She didnt want to take that route so she proceeded to poke me. And of course , she cant get any blood. So now shes digging in my arm and getting frustrated and says "When was your last normal BM? You know you could have stayed home and took imodium or something you dont just come to the hospital because you dont feel good for one day." That was the last straw for me. As soon as she removed the needle I hopped up and said "Yea youre not gonna stick me anymore because I dont have to deal with this. Youre very rude and judgemental and youve been this way every time you stepped foot in this room" of course she didnt know what I was talking about and said all she told me to do was not drink the ginger ale and iw told her that wasnt the problem at all. Her delivery and sarcasm was. She didnt even care that I was leaving she said "Fine Ill let the doctor know" and left. I will never return here and Im going to let every university hospital manager know , blog , review site , social media , && anything else know how I was treated.

Dont go here if you value your privacy at all. I was so sick once I couldnt drive. I asked an associate who lived next door to take me to the ER. He took me. The triage nurse was so loud asking personal questions about my medical history I had to remind her the whole damn ER waiting room could her, as I heard every word of previous patients info. It get worse. I get back to a room & out of nowhere a nurse comes & asks if anyone is with me. I said yes my ride is in the waiting room. She asked 1st name, I didnt question why ( I SHOULD HAVE) I just said his name is "****". This stupid Bi**h brought him into my room without even asking what our relationship was or if I wanted him to come back. Not even a minute later the doctor comes in & tells me Im pregnant & congratulates myself & my neighbor. I had no idea thats why I was sick & I damn sure didnt appreciate my neighbor finding out with me, especially since I was getting an abortion. No one ever knew about that pregnancy other than my neighbor who I never had any type of relationship with. It took everything in me to hold my composure & not flip out on them. Ive never experienced such unprofessionalism in a hospital. I stepped out in the hall and whispered to the nurse my grievances & loud as hell she yells " Oh Im sorry I thought he was your boyfriend!!!" At that point I just walked away. Neighbor heard that as well & apologized to me as if he did something wrong. Ill never step foot in there again. This was over a year ago & it still bothers me to this day.

Love the ob/gyn. Marc Snelson and Dr razepka (may have spelt wrong) are amazing. I will never go anywhere else. (Thats why the 2 stars). But as far as the emergency room, thats different. I went there with my sister because she had staph and they dismissed her even though she had a HOLE in her knee they made her clean it off and out her self and wouldnt give her any bandage. My boyfriend went to the emergency room due to severe pain in his knee and they kept insisting that he was abusing drugs we tried to tell them about 5 different people that he wasnt but because he has tattoos they didnt believe him or us. Turned out he had an infection in his bone and blood and he had to stay there for over a week and had to take antibiotics at home with a pic line that went straight to his heart. He almost died. They really dont care if you are sick or if anything is really wrong unless you are on the verge of death. I wouldnt recommend this hospital unless your going to the gyno or to get blood work (ordered during my pregnancy).

TERRIABLE SERVICE!!!! The doctors really do tell you "ANYTHING" just to get you out! The pass 5 times that I came here Ive been seen by different doctors with the same nasty, callous, sarcastic ass attitude! Do NOT recommend. Plz read 2nd part of my review Went Dec 2, 2016 again Nurses were a lil bit more caring, but the bathroom was just DISGUSTING!!!! SINK HAD BROWN, GREEN, & BLACK ALL AROUND THE SINK, & THE FOOD BY FAR WAS THE WORST!!! They also put me in a room with an emergency button that wasnt working. I would ring the bell for like 30mins to an 1hr, no one would ever come! I would have to get out the bed & yell for someone to come smh. Was TERRIBLE!!! Anything could have been happening to me

Not just the doctors but the nurses the nurses aids the dietitians the care coordinators even the household workers! Being in the hospital is hard enough as it is but to have professionals that care enough to know that youd rather be anywhere here. With an experience like this hospital I really dont mind being sick! If anyone ever asks I will always recommend this hospital! Keep doing what you do guys & dont change a thing!
