I am writing this absolutely heartbroken! Please please please, find care for your beloved animal elsewhere. This "hospital" only cares about the amount of money they can squeeze out of you, not comforting your animal. I was unfortunately referred here from a Banefield clinic whom I now suspect gets kick backs for their referrals, so I foolishly rushed him up here as fast as I could due to his dire condition. My cat was showing obvious signs of dehydration and crying in pain, he was never hooked up to an IV to help with the dehydration nor was any type of pain medication offered to comfort him. They didnt run any kind of test until they discussed money (and theyll want it at that moment) then theyll come back to discuss more money based on treatment options. They dont offer payment/billing plans unless youre denied their line of credit that they push then it might possible be an option. In my state of hysteria there was no way for me to complete the lengthy credit application as I could barely form words to attempt to communicate, and unfortunately I didnt have thousands and possibly tens of thousands of dollars for a treatment option that may have worked or possibly only bought my sick beloved cat days or weeks. I was forced to make the decision to put my cat down because of money, how disgusting is that? I would have gladly put a down payment down and made monthly payments, even gotten another job if I had too. This type of treatment would be unethical if caring for people. No one goes to an ER and is only given care/treatment if they can afford to pay for it up front. Is there no oath on ethics for veterinary medicine? I foolishly thought they would try to help, comfort, and possibly save my cat just like a hospital is expected to, but no all I got was the guilt of having to put my cat down because I couldnt pay for treatment that day and wasnt in the right state of mind to fill out a lengthy application. I just wanted to ease my cats pain, comfort him, and hopefully make him better. Once I finally had to make the agonizing and gut wrenching decision to euthanize because of his pain I was told I would receive a certificate with his paw prints in memory of him, which I didnt not receive they already had their money so they were done pretending to care. Unfortunately I didnt realize that I hadnt received his prints until I was home. Before the euthanasia a big show of concern was put on for him, "take all the time you want with him, just let us know what you need." Meanwhile I was constantly checked in on and once I finally said I was as ready as I was ever going to be I was told "I had a feeling if I didnt keep checking in on you youd be here all day." They also wanted to cremate my cat until I asked if it cost more or was included, which of course it isnt why cut into profits, so I declined and they continued to try and push it to build my bill. I had also requested all his records/labs from our visit and when the representative came back out she said theyd email or fax them because they were so busy, Ive still only gotten partial records that I had requested. I am unfortunately going to have to call them tomorrow and get his remaining documents as I will be taking them to another vet for a second opinion. Once they had my money and had euthanized my cat I was rushed out head still spinning from the morning we had just endured. Nothing will bring my beloved Oliver back but I hope to help someone else avoid the heartache Im enduring and save a fur baby. $300 worth of test were run to confirm that he was indeed deathly ill and the euthanasia was nearly another $100 and they still tried to get more for cremation. Please go somewhere else for your beloved pet/family member where they genuinely care about comforting your animal not bleeding your wallet dry. The owners of this company should be ashamed of themselves for the despicable way this place is ran and trying to pass it off as a hospital.

My husband and I are incredibly impressed with the care our sweet pup, Ginger, has received thus far! Honestly, we were a bit skeptical as this is a large facility and we thought our dog/we would be lost in the masses of patients coming in. That was NOT the case! We were first-time clients as of just over a week ago, thinking we were bring in our 12.5 year old lab/pit mix for possible ACL reconstruction consult. That day, we found out through MedVet, that Ginger has bone cancer. They were SO thorough, patient, and kind with both us and our pup. From the front desk, to the nurses, techs, intern vets, and our surgeon (Dr. Susanna Schwartz)- everyone has truly been a blessing with work with. They made us all feel like a priority and were incredibly sympathetic and sensitive to our surprising situation; they were all good active listeners and good educators (which we truly appreciate being health care practitioners ourselves; we know how important it is to have your provider explain and communicate plan of care to you and loved ones). They worked without pause to get Ginger screened the same day and all of her pre-op work done ASAP, and Ginger was fit in - no questions or hesitation- within 24 hours for her left rear leg amputation. Already we are seeing our pup come back to life with markedly less pain and more personality - much like she had prior to her health decline - thanks to the care and intervention she received through MedVet. We had been specifically referred to Dr. Schwartz and she was beyond worth the referral to see. They are all so attentive and positive and professional, even when we have had to call once overnight and to connect with the ER staff regarding a concern for our pup. While we hate the circumstances under which Ginger is now going to continue receiving care due to her cancer, we couldnt be more pleased with the care shes received and we are grateful to MedVet for buying us some quality time left with our number one fur child.

I cannot thank the staff at MedVet enough!!! I was so scared when I arrived. I had a VERY bad experience at another emergency care office the night before but Im not going to get into all that. I want to commend the staff for so many of the amazing things they did. When I arrived, I was holding my sick (and possibly dying) fur baby in my arms, I was fighting back tears, but I was greeted by the sweetest woman ever. She got up from her seat behind the front desk and walked me over to a bench to sit down, while bringing paperwork with her for me to fill out. After that, I was taken to a room very quickly. Whenever the technician came in to talk to us, she sat down, never rushed through anything and was never pushy. Even more so, any moment that my cat wasnt being looked at in the back, they brought her back to the room so I could hold her and comfort her. This meant so much to me! One time, when the staff was performing an ultrasound on my cat in the back, I walked out into the hall to go to the bathroom and was stopped by another staff member that I had no interaction with before, she asked if I was Boos mama (Boos is my cats nickname), I told her I was, she responded by telling me how much she loved my cat and how sweet and beautiful she is. This melted my heart! I had never even seen this woman but she knew my pet by name and was sweet enough to come talk to me about her. I truly felt that they understood how much my pet meant to me and they did everything in their power to make me and most importantly, my fur baby comfortable. We left there with great news and my fur baby recovered quickly and is perfectly healthy again! Thank you MedVet!
