Brought my cat in 3 months ago....they charged us $700.00 by running all kinds of tests and then said they couldnt find anything wrong with him. Today, Smudge had to be put down by an emergency vet.....he said Smudge had Lymphoma. How hard is it to diagnosis Lymphoma in a cat? They ran blood tests, x-rays, urinalysis, palptations, gave him steroids and sent him out the door. I would never recommend this place to anyone who loves their pet.....they just run up the bill and offer no solutions, recommendations, or after-care. After he left their facility, he continued to decline. We took him to another vet and asked Beavercreek Animal Hospital to forward his x-rays and tests to that vet so she could have a better idea of what was going on with him. They gave us the run-a-round and never even bothered to forward the medical records we paid $700 for. Completely and totally unprofesstional. Stay away if you have a really ill animal.

We had been using another vet closer to home. Our 4.5 yr old female boxer tore her left CCL, and we were searching for options less expensive than the TPLO surgery ($3,000+). We heard about Dr Jeff Schumann from a doggie daycare we use. Dr Schumann examined our dog and recommended the traditional repair, which essentially is 80 lb fishing line wrapped in a figure 8 around the stifle tendons, which keeps the joint together until scar tissue forms to stabilize it. I was concerned because the dog is very active, and Dr Schumann assured me that the procedure was "tried and true". It was also much less expensive than TPLO. We had the procedure done, and followed up with physical therapy for a few weeks. Our dog had NO complications! Today, she is back to her slobbery, silly self, and can leap as well as ever. You have to look for her scar which is very faint. Beavercreek Animal Hospital gets my highest recommendation

This vet is TERRIBLE! I took my sun conure there as soon as I noticed he was sick. They kept him there for four hours and then I finally asked how hes doing and they say they lost him, there was nothing they could do! They did no blood work, x-rays or anything. When I asked what happened the doctor replied "Who knows". They could have at least tried to save him, but instead they did nothing! They still charged me $64 bucks for doing nothing! The yellow naped amazon parrot they have on display looked sick also, I was there for four hours and he had no food or water or even bowls in his cage the whole time! These people do not care about birds, maybe dogs, but not birds. Please do not take your bird here, instead go to a strictly avian vet.

I took my pregnant Chihuahua to them. They knew nothing in particular about the breed, other than telling me (angrily), that Chihuahuas have to have C sections. That may be true SOMETIMES, but not always. They acted as if I were a criminal for not knowing the breeding date, so they could schedule a C section. They also told me some other myths. I finally found a good veterinary in Oregon City. Look around, they also have some deal with the pet shop in Oregon City. which would seem a conflict of interest if you bought a dog and took it there to get a health evaluation.

I think one the reviews on here is reviewing the wrong clinic. We are not in Oregon! I LOVE Beavercreek Animal Hopsital in Beavercreek Ohio! The vet that we have most the time takes the time to get down on the floor and comfort my pets instead of strapping them to a table and making them sit still. My dogs love going to the vet!! In particular we have a boy with a sensitive system and they have always taken such good care of him!

Vet care is excellent and personable. Dr. Wolf did all that he could to help our dog, even calling on Sunday to tell the status. They were able to get us in the same day in an emergency situation and have a clean, organized care center.
