Dr. Garrens practice is disorganized and unprofessional. He had me taking allergy injections only to find out that I dont even have allergies based on more thorough testing done elsewhere. Also, it commonly take an hour or more to see Dr. Garren due to his no stop tendency to see as many patients as possible (more $). But this is not the worst of it, read on... When seeing Dr. Garren I did have a tendency to develop sinus infections, which he attributed to a deviated septum. He continued to bring up sinus surgery as an option to consider. After this coming up on several occasions I eventually agreed to have the surgery. What a mistake! My sinuses have only gotten worse from this surgery and I now get thick mucus that gets stuck to my sinus walls that is very difficult to pass and I can only clear these clumps of mucus down my throat. Oh, and I still get sinus infections. I now have some breathing difficulties which are related to the surgery as well. Eventually I learned I developed a form empty nose syndrome (ENS) due to this surgery. Google it to learn more. Thankfully, Ive found a quality ENT is offering advanced treatment options for those in my situation, but the treatment is expensive and would be unnecessary had I not had the surgery in the first place. My biggest mistake was trusting Dr. Garren to have my best interests in mind. Bottom line: if you have an ENT promoting turbinate reduction and/or septoplasty you should avoid this as it is not worth the risks. There are many other ways to take care of your sinuses that dont require medications or surgery.

Doctor Garren is extremely knowledgeable, has a very humble, down-to-earth manner that most doctors dont have today, and will give you multiple options for treatment so you can decide the best way to proceed with your care, instead of having the typical Im the doctor, you should do this line given to you. The bad reviews are from uninformed patients (no surgery is a guaranteed cure) or irresponsible ones (who dont arrive on time). The office staff is wonderful (I had at least four appointments and enjoyed all interactions) and Dr Garren has a great manner with patients. Im also a pharmacist so I have plenty of experience to know good doctors from bad ones. Ill continue to go to Dr Garren for all ENT needs.

I made an appointment. Granted I was late. My appointment was canceled anyways because the Secretary never called to tell me the doctor had to go do a surgery. I had to load up two infants and drive a half hour for this appointment!!!!!! This is not the first incident with this secretary. I called there number the first time for my doctor for my old doctor and asked specifically to have the appointment with that doctor. She said o yes I can schedule you. She might be a pretty face but shes ignorant. I will be scheduling with someone else.
