Dr. Balas told me my 10 year old mind you only 10 years old chihuahua had congestive heart failure an put him on a prescription called enalapril an lasixand Vetmedin which I didnt know that this was gonna mess up his kidneys BECAUSE I AM NOT A VET which Im glad Im not. But my gut instinct told me that he couldnt have this problem so I got his heart checked an it cost me 5 hundred an 17 dollars in cash mind you. Test results heart was good. I had the money to treat my dog what ever was wrong with him. He then got worst from her pills, as soon as my gut instinct told me to take him off of the meds I did but it was to late I also took him to other vets for other opinions an to see if I could try to save him but they said his kidneys were to far gone, there was no possible way that I could have saved him.We gave the vets all our money, my boyfriend sold his truck for money, we constantly had to dig up money to take care of him an he died anyway all because of their hospital that sucks believe me this happened a year ago an Im not reviewing this place for myself I am doing it for my dog Chico who was innocent an had to die for their incompetence, an so just maybe I could help another dog in this world by not going to this place. Its up to you if you want to believe me or not but I still cry everyday for my dog who was innocent an then this place just wants your money so they made it all up. I can not say enough amazing things about Douds. My dog Lucy was hit by a car late at night and we went to the Lorain Emergency Center. They stabilized her leg and said we have to take her to our vet in the morning... well I have not been happy with our current vet so decided to read so reviews and call around. Douds had great reviews and family also recommended them. Im so glad I did. I left a message for the dr on call. Dr Nicely. She called me at 11pm. Set my mind at ease that they can take care of her. I called in the morning and they got us in first thing in the morning. They gave her pain meds and took xrays. They even kept her over night so she would be cared for till today.... she is currently in surgery.... the dr came out and spoke with us first and told us what to expect. Then once she was put under, they came out again and told me she was under. I am completely overwhelmingly happy with douds and will never take my girls anywhere else!!!

We wait for hours every time! My dog has bad legs and I am unable to clip her nails. Never again will I allow them to cut her nails. They hurt her so badly, she was sore for over a week! Terrible! Oh but they will prescribe meds all day for everything, and wont tell you what it does to the dog because "they arent really sure how it effects dogs"....

Dr. Douds is an awesome veterinarian who is so helpful since my dog is 15 years old and is having some problems with his health. I have been with this vet for at least 15 - 20 years, as I had a collie before my Brittany! He also has good hours and a special for older persons with pets!

Adopted a dog from the pound my dog had to get fixed and 3 hours my dog died! I called them back and they checked out my dog and told me that didnt sew her up good. I did get a new dog that same day....just dont go here unless you want a dead animal for a pet
