This is our Forever Vet no questions about it. Dr. Christy Layton is wonderful!! Shes always professional and her "pet" side manner is just fantastic. Out dogs love her. Let me say that again folks, our DOGS LOVE HER. Theyre not afraid to go to the vet, they get excited to go and are instantly happy to see her. Now on a serious note: We just recently had to say goodbye to our beloved Sydney dog. The entire staff was so wonderful through all the visits, the treatments, the endless questions, the final arrangements, and especially the euthanization process. Our beloved Sydeny went peacefully surrounded by people that truly care and love her just as much as we do. They made the hardest moment of our lives bearable, calm, peaceful, and tender. Patti Leonard at the front desk is a Doll and a blessing to have support our needs. She talked us through everything from beginning to end with compassion, sympathy, and understanding. Chelsea Gorham assisted Dr Layton with practice and ease, keeping Sydney calm and relaxed. Words cant express our gratitude. The only thing I can do for them is leave this review and let everyone else know of our experience. Our dogs have been treated by Dr Layton and her team from day one to the last and we couldnt have provided better care for our furry family members. A huge Thank you to all of Timberlane Pet Hospitals staff. -- Sincerely and with love, The Webb Family -- (In loving memory of Sydney "Baka" Webb)

If you are considering taking your babies to Timberlane Pet Hospital in the front of Walden Lake, DO NOT! BEWARE!! You have been warned. I paid up front (DUMMY ME) for a complete puppy package ($900+) and was late in taking my puppy in for her yearly because they did not return my phone call attempts to schedule. They are now DENYING to give me the services I PAID FOR because it is their "policy". Once you call them out on it they show their true colors and become extremely rude and bitchy. The ladies in the office are not down to earth, they are very stuck up and rude the moment you have ANY discrepancies. This is NOT a family oriented place I would ever recommend taking your pets to! They are VERY money hungry and I hope to see them lose a lot of business because of this. I now have to take my puppies in to another establishment where I am going to have to pay $200+ to recieve what I have ALREADY paid for. What a shame!!!! Do NOT ever pay them up front or sign up for any packages, they will not get you in and once it runs out they will not see you unless you pay more!! The ladies have also repetitively lied to me in what I was supposed to get in the package, so I had them email the copy to me and of course, there was the truth - the things I did not recieve that I paid for. WHAT A SHAME!

I brought in my puppy for his second round of shots a few days ago. They didnt know what my puppy needed done that day even with me having brought him in the last time at the beginning of the month and me having come in to get the dewormer a week prior. They take my puppy to the back as well as me asking to his nails trimmed( first time I went they did not do this and there were no issues) Not even 3 minutes later my puppy is crying his head off!!! They bring him back in 5 minutes later and this rude Vet, that was not Dr. Layton comes in and immediately tells me that my puppy needs training because she knows his breed and that they are crazy dogs and obviously we arent giving him the training needed..... Not how my dog is doing or anything related to me paying for an exam !!! Also they didnt even offer me the rabies tag after his shot because they are expecting me to get him neutered there so I wont have to pay the $40.... how about you ask me what I want, not what youre assuming??? Im beyond disappointed that I even wasted my money bringing him here. God knows if they even gave him the shots they said they did.

I have been taking my babies to Christy since she opened in 2006 or 2007. And never had a problem until recently.. I lost my job and had to get my baby care, I owed a remaining $62.00, which I was sent to Collections over. I PAID the amount owed $62. and change, early this year. I confirmed the payment WAS received, and I have called a MINIMUM Once a week Since September 29th, 2016, to speak to Adrian, The Office Manager to have the "UNPAID" status of this account updated with the bureaus.... To Date (12/8/2016) I have called and left over 11 messages for Her and she has YET to Correct this OR even have the decency to RETURN my call! I am working with the Collection agency , With Payment confirmation IN HAND to try to get this resolved. NOTHING YET.. THEY cant even get her to return THEIR call. I hate that NOW I have to find someone else to care for my babies! I LOVE the Doctors! Just cant get any assistance from some of the Office staff. IN SHORT.... DO NOT make Payment Arrangements, if you are late ONCE, you will have a TOTAL Nightmare on your hands! #quicktoreportSLOWtocorrect

We have taken our two, large breed dogs to this vet for the last 9 years. I love this vets office! The staff truly care about all of their patients and always make time to ensure that all our questions and concerns are addressed. We are never rushed. On the one occasion when we had an unexpected emergency 1 hour before they closed, the staff were able to squeeze us in to be seen. I would never take my girls anywhere else! The staff is also good about keeping the cost of treatments in mind. We had one instance where our dog had an infection that cold have been caused by one of two types of bacteria. The vet said the treatment for both types was the same so rather than run a test to determine the type of bacteria, which would have been an additional expense, the vet just gave us the antibacterial pills.

WONDERFUL Vet (Dr. Christy Layton) and staff, especially Patti. Moved to Plant City last year. Our fixer upper house came with a barn cat, a golden tabby. Over a year, it finally let us hold him and pet him but stayed outside. Suddenly, he appeared with a bad foot and in pain. Finally caught him after 2 weeks. Dr. Christy Layton was recommended by another vet for a cat emergency. I spoke with Patti, explained the situation and she had me bring Goldie (wife chooses the cats names) in ASAP. They looked at Goldie (broken foot), gave me an accurate estimate, and treated Goldie immediately. Dr. Layton came out, explained everything very clearly and we now have a happy, micro chipped, zinc neutered (ok, a semi happy) male friend. THANKS for the quick response and a wonderful, caring staff.

Dr. Layton has taken care of all 4 of our Shih Tzu dogs. We had 4 extra wonderful years with Brittany more than anyone hoped for all thanks to the care Dr Layton and her staff gave to Brittany. The Staff is very professional and wonderful to deal with. Before Dr. Layton opened her hospital and resort no one wanted to go see the vet, once they knew Dr Layton a trip to the vet was so pleasant no one wanted to leave. Bonnie and Buffy enjoy going to the resort for play days with their friends and Tony keeps them looking good with regular trims. Thank You Dr. Layton for taking great care of "my girls" and for the love you give to them and all your patients.
