I have to say that I had a very mixed experience at Dr. Goins practice. The clinic is beautiful, clean, and very zen-like. There are organic teas in the waiting room, fresh colors on the walls and a pleasing and updated decor and atmosphere. There is a lovely waiting area for children and the staff was very friendly and engaging. My husband and I went in together for a consultation which took place over two visits on two different days. Our goals were clear throughout the process and we are experienced chiropractic care consumers. The reason for the two star rating came at the end of the consultation when Dr. Goin sat us down to give us the results and go over his plan for treatment. I realize Dr. Goin wants his patients to understand where their problems are and the benefits they can receive from care, which is fine, but the whole presentation just felt very "pitchy" to me. He spent a really long time explaining all the various benefits of chiropractic care (which we already knew and was the reason we were seeking chiropractic care) and then presented us with his "plan". Which required an upfront payment from each of us in an amount over $1,000. This is all without ever having one adjustment and after paying several hundred dollars just to get to this point. When we inquired about the possibility of just paying per visit at the time of service, he informed us of the much higher penalty that is incurred per visit if you dont get the plan - which is over double what most chiropractors in the area charge as a per visit amount. Another thing that didnt make sense was that he told us they dont accept insurance to keep their costs low, yet his costs (especially without his plan) were much higher than others in the area. I personally know from being a CPA and auditing hospitals and doctors that clinicians dont like to accept insurance if its not necessary, as they get a much lower reimbursement rate from insurance agencies than they do from self-pay and have to incur administrative expenses to track and follow-up on claims, so his explanation doesnt even make sense. All of the above led didnt engender a high level of trust in him and as a result we took our business elsewhere. If you are OK paying a large amount up front without getting a chance to determine if his treatment is working for you or a good fit, maybe this wont bother you, and from the many positive reviews Dr. Goin has on here, it does seem like he is a solid clinician and has helped many people. However, as a person myself who reads reviews and uses them to help make informed decisions about clinicians, I wish I had known about his business practices going into our visits and could have saved myself a lot of money. Its my personal opinion that if you really want to help people, you work with them and offer some flexibility.

Chiropractics: Let me state that I have always been a nay-sayer with chircopratics. After hearing about amazing results from a relative, I went for a consultation and was impressed. Enough so to start a treatment program with Dr. Nick. Innate: Innate is such an awesome place. What they promote goes beyond the spine alignments that Dr. Nick does. They really encourage building healthy routines and for some people, myself for one, major lifestyle changes. It is always quick; I promise you will spend more time driving there then actually being there. For the short time that you are sitting (while stretching) waiting for your adjustment, you get to watch these great videos they play in regards to illness in general, cancer, DIET. They are so eye opening. The videos alone have influenced HUGE changes in my diet and I feel great! Amazing even. Lastly, the atmosphere. Never before have I been to an establishment where I was greeted with such genuine excitement and happiness. When mentioning this I have to blame Grace and Jessie. They are both fantastic people. Not only must they be Dr. Nick’s backbone there, they are so personable and enthusiastic and they really get me excited about showing up to my next adjustment. These young ladies are as much a part of the experience there as the adjustments with Dr. Nick. My Results: I started my treatment with Dr. Nick not thinking I had any specific issues I wanted to improve. From what I had heard though, I knew there was much more to be enhanced than I could have guessed. I had become so used to an achy back and neck that when I started noticing improvements in comfort in a car seat, getting up in the morning, or sitting in a chair for 3+ hours that I felt like a new person. I felt like I had been missing out on normality past several years. Emotionally, I felt bad for myself for just now getting this kind of help and for all those who know not even of the possibilities. Dr. Nick: Enough cannot be said about Dr. Nick. Go see for yourself and watch your life change.

At only 49 years old, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis. I was very concerned about how I was going to treat it. I was provided with very few options other than to go on several drugs that had some disturbing side effects. I was familiar with Dr. Nicks office and wondered if osteoporosis was a disease he would be able to treat. I spoke with him over the phone and he felt confident that chiropractic care would be an effective treatment. After conducting my initial scans and X-rays, Dr. Nick sat down with me and went over my scans that showed I had significant inflammation and disturbances in the area of my spine that controls the gut. He explained in a very detailed, yet easy to understand fashion, that my body was not processing calcium effectively, hence the development of osteoporosis. He recommended a chiropractic care plan that would allow my gut to efficiently process calcium. I am close to being finished with my care plan and my follow-up scans show great improvements. Although I will not know the improvement in my bone density until I am able to receive another Dexa Scan, I feel so much better knowing that all of the extra calcium I am taking through supplements is being processed correctly. Some unexpected positive outcomes from my treatments have been increased quality of sleep and an overall ability to handle and manage the stressors in my life more appropriately. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Nick and his wonderful staff! I love everything about them!

I cannot praise Innate Health Chiropractic enough. I recommend them to everyone. Dr. Nick truly cares about his patients and his comprehensive, holistic care proves that. He invests time into each patient and actually listens to everything - good or bad - that youre feeling. He explains everything technically (pre-warns you with "Im about to get nerdy"), but then explains it in normal-people terms. He uses a lot of analogies, which really clicked with me. The vibe of the office is great, too. Its very family-focused with adorable children running around and whole families getting adjusted, but not so much that I, a single twenty-something year old, feel awkward being there. The staff is phenomenal, too. They know everyone by name, and genuinely care about your life. A lot of times we talk about things not related to health, and its great. Also, everyone is so warm and welcoming. I know this doesnt even mention how much the chiropractic care has done for me, so sorry. Since beginning my restoration phase, I can already tell a big difference. I didnt have any traumatic event happen, but years of sublaxations and stresses (learned that from Innate) built up. I no longer have migraines, aches and pains, back pain after standing more than 30 minutes, and shoulder spasms. Now I have more energy, better posture, more "peace," a better overall quality of life. Its a night and day difference, and I cannot thank Innate enough.
