Horrible doctor. I have a serious condition that will effect every pregnancy that I have. Cervical incompetence that I found out I had after 2 previous losses. In my second pregnancy I went into preterm labor at 21 weeks and 5 days and my son was born. I also had chorioamnionitis and was very sick but my obgyn at the time said that I more than likely had IC and that is why I lost my son and will need surgery with any future pregnancies that I have. I came to Dr. Avram for my 3rd pregnancy after losing every child I had ever had. He refused to do the cerclage surgery preventatively at the end of the 1st trimester And said no, we are gonna wait and see. I saw MFM for cervical measurements. At 22...23 weeks my cervix was extremely short and I was funneled. (Dialated from the inside out) the only good thing that he ever did for me was do the emergency surgery at 23 weeks and 2 days, which should have been done to begin with. At that time without the surgery, I was days away from losing my baby. He had horrible bed side manner, was extremely rude, would leave the door open and would just stand there while I was getting changed, he didnt take anything I said seriously even though I was right and have a serious condition. He never talked to me about a plan for delivery. Horrible delivery experience, he was literally arguing with another resident as I was giving birth and was no help at all.

His staff is excellent and professional as well as patient and tolerant. They tolerate his rudeness and defend his actions...he is rude and dismissive. He has no empathy what so ever. He is also a liar... I looked at my account today and he placed himself as an attending and he was no where near me ...I had not even met him...save yourself the drive and the money... He is not worth it. Poor excuse for a doctor...would not trust him with any part of me or my child! Beware!

Met him once, then he got kicked out of mercy facilities. So glad he did. My baby was slowly dying. They caught it just in time and saved her
